Good quality, gives a lot of light, everything works as described
one of the better + bigger Ringlights on a stand. Worth the money! Just be aware of the plastic components = delicate! For that reason I would never use this product outside, unless you are sure of a Windfree location and the Ringlight cant tip over (with possible breakage of the plastic). You can not compare the product with a sturdy professional photography tool, that's off course a different budget. Over all a decent product I would advise when looking for this kind of tool. You get a lot of handy extra's (trigger, remote, sturdy stand, carrying bag, UK&EU plug, ...). The only thing I don't use are the color filters, I do use both the warm and cold temp. on the white light.

Best bang for buck Ringlight
So you're looking for a ringlight that's the best bang for your money, look no further.Ok, so you're asking, is it perfect, NO, but can you get anything else better for your money, probably NOT. But let me tell you why I love it - they've thought about the users.Just few things I love about it:- the QC 3.0 USB port on the back, what an amazing addition to never run out of juice on your smartphone when being live or just recording videos.- colour temperature change, it's not perfect, but will get the job done, when you need to match your light with the room lights or just have a creative angle to your videos. more blue or more yellow, your choice.- the accessories you get with the light. You get everything you need to get your video done, all you need is a smartphone, tablet or a camera. Theres different cold shoe mounts and smartphone holders, tablet holders, but best of all you have the light stand!!! I've bought a ringlight before and I didn't get a light stand with it, that’s such a great addition.-remote. I love that you get the light remote with it- that works great. But also a smartphone remote to trigger the smartphone video with a remote. Love it.-also great light quality. Very high TLCI & CRI rating!Overall, I love it. Just a good product. A lot of performance for your money.

Conflicted views
As a ring light I think this is a great product. Probably a solid 9/9.5. My issues start with add ons. First is the remote, an excellent addition that looks, feels and works great, apart from temp control. The remote goes higher then light does and that seems stupid. then all the accessories are great additions that make a great package. Then comes the option to power it using batteries. This is probably the main thing that tipped me over the line to buy this. But it seems they developed a great product and didnt actually think about it much. The bag is well made but pointless. its padded to protect the light but no pockets or anything for all the bits or difusers and no compartment for the stand. So a genius portable ring light that isnt portable because there is no way to carry it all. think as a portable ring light id give it a 5/5.5 just because of the bag. in studio its perfect for moving around though. Excellent product with poor after thoughts.

Incredible value for money, an essential piece of kit
This ring light has become an essential part of my photography equipment now, and I’m seriously impressed with its performance. At the £150 mark you start to transition from the budget products into the semi pro category, and the light offers great versatility overall. This is a very high quality piece of kit, and yet offers fantastic value for money. As a tech Youtuber, this has become an essential part of my kit now, but I can imagine that photographers (especially those taking portraits) and make-up tutorialists will find this very useful too. With the many accessories and extras included, this a very complete overall package - I'll talk you through the contents and what I thought about it too:The package arrived, first of all very quickly, but also extremely well packaged. They've taken a lot of care to package everything safely and securely, and everything is compartmentalised very well. The stand itself was packaged so securely at the bottom of the box that it took some effort to prise it free - but I'm not complaining here. There is a vast array of accessories offered here to provide a comprehensive overall package. In the box you're supplied with:- A large carrying caseThis is nicely padded on both sides to keep the light protected, and is large enough to fit accessories too. Some more compartments would perhaps have been nice, but overall I was impressed with its quality)- The 19" ring light with a full LED display and control panel at the rearThe light has a great build quality and operates at 60 W - offering a fantastic range of brightness (4800 lux). Its highest brightness is extremely bright, easily the most surprising/impressive aspect, and it hurts to look directly at it - so lightning up even the darkest of scenes should be no problem. There's a 3000 - 5800 K temperature range which should cover pretty much everything you might need. I personally won't use most of the warmer colours but the option is nice to have. I should say that you don't have full control over the temperature here, there are a few jumps as you scroll through the full range - but anyone looking for exact colour control should know that they need to spend a lot more for professional equipment. The brightness control is a lot more liberal, and pretty much the full 0 - 100% brightness can be toggled accurately. The control panel offers full control over the brightness, temperature, channels, groups (yes, you can group multiple lights into one set) and even has a USB 3.0 (quick charging) port to plug your smartphone in - which could be really handy if you're recording from that. The light can either by powered by mains (supplied) or via batteries (not supplied) for portable use - which is excellent, and the switch lets you toggle the power source too. The supported batteries are NF-550, 570, 750, 950, 960, 970 - so it's likely you already have some of these, and if not, they're pretty cheap now. What's really nice is that when connected to mains power, the light will recharge the external batteries too! There's also space for 3 hot shoe mounts on top of base of the light - so you can mount your own accessories such as the phone/tablet mounts (see later), a DSLR, a combination etc...- A sturdy, collapsable/extendable standThis also surprised me with its high build quality. It's made of metal and has a decent weight to it for extra security. The clamps are all very secure and lock into place tightly. The light can be rotated 360 degrees and titled at over 180 degree angles for great flexibility, so you have the option to angle it downwards (to completely flat if needed) - although, as heavy as the stand is, doing so might cause it to lean/fall. At maximum extension the stand reaches to over 6 ft - and it still quite stable then too.- A wireless remote controlThis was rather impressive. Again, the quality was very high, it came with it's own battery and has full control over the light's colour temperature, brightness (inc quick toggles for these), channel settings, group settings and power on/off. This means that if you have more than one light you are able to group them together and control them via remote too, which is really handy. Theres a rotating dimmer switch too for cycling through brightness/temperature which makes adjustment nice and easy. Of course these controls are on the light itself too, but it's extremely handy to have remote control too whilst shooting. The remote pairs with the light over a 2.4 GHz network, so the range and stability is great and the initial pairing is all taken care of - just adjust to the right channel and you have instant control (the light adjusts very quickly after changing the settings on the remote too). All of the settings are displayed on a bright, clear and large LED display, just like the one on the light itself - it's really easy to read and understand everything. To be really pedantic, a USB-C powered internal battery would have been nice and very future-proof, but the battery remote really isn't an issue and the fact they supply the battery too is great).- 1 x bluetooth remoteThis simply offers a shutter button for either iOS or Android, and is used to pair with your smartphone to remotely activate the shutter. It's just a small, cheap plastic remote, nothing fancy, but it comes with the battery supplied and can make remote shooting really easy. Pairing is simple: flick the switch on and it enters pairing mode (blue flashing LED), find it on your phone's bluetooth menu (AB shutter3), tap to pair it and you're good to go. On iOS, it didn't remotely open the camera app (it replaces the volume up button so will turn the volume up unless you're on the camera app). On the camera app, however, it can activate the shutter on photo mode, press and hold for burst photos or start video recording too. On Android, it highlights the primary area of the display and 'selects' it. i.e. on the camera app it triggers the shutter button, just like iOS. But on your home menu, for example, you may find it randomly opens a different app - just use it on the camera app to be safe! To switch devices you just unpair from your phone and the remote re-enters pairing mode.- 4 x diffusion panelsThese come in white, red, green, blue and are comprised of 4 parts each - so you could technically mix and match if you wanted since they're removable/interchangeable. The white will of course likely be the most useful (only useful one?) but the options are there for you.- 1 x smartphone mountThis has a standard 1/4 base screw to attach to the light, and an additional one at the side if you also want to add another accessory e.g. microphone. It offers full 360 degree rotation and extends via screw cap to fit even the largest of phones (with a case, I comfortably fit an iPhone XS Max and case in there with cms to spare). It's made of plastic but still feels quite durable - and the soft foam pads on the inside will protect your phone against scratches/impact too.1 x large tablet mountThis is similar to the smartphone mount and again has one standard 1/4 screw mount to attach it to the stand. One end extends via springs, so you can stretch it out, slide your iPad/tablet in and have it clamp automatically. The other side extends via screw cap in case you want to fit larger tablets in here (up to 12"). Again there are soft rubber feet to keep your tablet protected and secure. There's an additional mounting system at the rear if you don't want to use the 1/4 screw and this can attach to a variety of optional mounting accessories.- 1 x small hot-shoe mount- 1 x large hot-shoe mount- 1 x angled/rotating hot-shoe mountPretty standard but again made of high quality. There can be used to mount the phone/tablet mounts, DLSRs, microphones etc. You probably have your own already but it's nice that you're given a variety of mounts here.1 x power adapterThis has a detachable wall plug and cable, and inside the box you are supplied with both a UK and EU wall adapter. So you can easily switch out the cable if you go abroad with this. The cables offer a decent length too, well over 10 ft.- 1 x velcro strap (cable tidy)Pretty self-explanatory but it's decent quality and is large enough to keep a large bundle of cables organised if needed.- Instruction manualsThere are included for the stand, light, remote controls, tablet/smartphone mounts and offer comprehensive enough, albeit simple, instructions. But everything is pretty self-explanatory/easy to figure out anyway.Overall I was really impressed. At £150 odd, it's an excellent value and rather complete ring light package.

Great Ring light
Flexible Ring Light, perfect for selfies, portraits and also for Videoblogging on the go or in the office/home. It also works great for use on a stand behind your webcam or laptop camera to provide extra lighting in dark situation. Flexible bightness and adjusting of colour temprature to give the best skin tone in photos or a call.Love its flexibility, i bought some batteries so can easily take it anywhere when i need to do some portraits or calls out of the home. Under normal circumstances it sits behind my laptop with all the zoom calls we have these days.

Good, but nowhere near great
This is an amazing ring light to start off with. It is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it for the LED’s. The plastics are extremely cheap. Expected much better quality at this price range, however the screen and the remote are super easy to use and easy to configure to your setting. Accessories that come with are great as well, will keep your device in place and give you a bit of flexibility. Like that it has multiple slots for different equipment. If batteries were included and plastic wasn’t so cheap, I would give it 5 stars.

Quite a versatile light for photography
When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised by how well the item was packaged. The ring light and all of the accessories come in an ideal black material carry bag for transport and storage. The light stand was in a box at the bottom of the main packaging and fitted so snuggly it could easily be missed albeit once fully opened and extended brings the top of the ring light to over 6 feet tall. The accessories are boxed within the main bag and as I touched on earlier are in abundance. 3 slots inside the ring can mount devices simultaneously or individually for those wanting to get the lens exactly centred with a wide range of alignment. Different height thread mounts and a ball joint threat mount make it very versatile along with holders for different sized mobile phones and able to screw to the base of cameras.2 remotes are included one for the ring light which has the same buttons and a turn dial for controlling every function on the light. Then other is of slightly lower quality but is a bluetooth remote for triggering an iphone or android camera, I initially thought this is something I’d not use but is actually so simple to setup and works so easily I actually really like it.UK and US power cables come with the light and whilst it is a 2core cable with no earth, the transformer does step down to about 15v DV.The diffusers are removable and it comes with clear/red/blue/green options. I’m not too sure photographically why you’d use the colours instead of colour grading in post-production but again they are options for people who may use the light creatively in different ways. The stand is of average quality without air-cushioning but goes to a very good height, whilst the ring light bracket allows for it to be tilted, I wouldn’t tilt it whilst fully extended as it does cause it to lean slightly. Speaking of the bracket I was surprised how despite being tight and keeps the light in position, it does flex rather a lot, not a huge issue but I certainly wouldn’t be happy mounting a DSLR to the mounts I talked about earlier. For any large cameras I would use them hand held to shoot through the ring, smaller cameras such as compacts, phones and mirrorless would be absolutely fine however.A very versatile product for a range of uses, the ring is larger than I expected though I suspect this allows for more LED’s and therefore better light output so certainly not a negative. Precise brightness and colour temperature control are an excellent touch and whilst I have not checked the Kelvin ratings against a grey card to confirm the accuracy yet, it certainly has a good colour range.
