Daytona Helmets3/4 Shell Open Face Motorcycle Helmet – DOT Approved [Root Beer Metal Flake] [M]

Got for the wife. She loves it. Quick release strap is great. No button required. Nevermind the troll from 2016 that left other review. My only complaint is the sparkle flaw on front of helmet. Small patch of silver flake instead of red. Luckily she wears the visor so it hides it. But still. Factory reject?

I have had A LOT of helmets and this one really stands out.Pros:-The look!! Root Beer Metal Flake - if you’re even thinking it, buy it. Cool AF.-Comfy-Low profile shell-Price is great-Feels well put together.-Ratchet strap is a nice easy-to-use featureCons:-I know this is individual, and I know most people wear helmets more loosely than they should. That said, my wife and I each had to send back a first order and order down a size. My head circumference is 57.5cm and the medium fits perfectly.-related to fit, a problem with the sizing chart recommended size (for each of us) was an inability to get the chinstrap anywhere near tight enough. Even on the smaller size (that fits) had to adjust the chin strap to its tightest setting.-Really not sure about protection, but if you are considering an open faced....All said, I’d tell anyone to ride with a full face. If you are going to have a 3/4 on the shelf, this is your helmet!Back to the color, the root beer is sort of a rusty orange, a little lighter than I might have expected. The metal flake is amazing. It’s SO bright when reflecting light. My wife has the pink version - also fantastic.We put Biltwell bubble shields on ours - again, awesome!Love the helmet and highly recommend.

Love! Love! Love this helmet (size small). I tried on so many different styles and found the 3/4 helmet was best for me. I love the retro look and the glitter. It's perfect for my scooter and to protect my noggin. Been very hot and humid here and I was surprised that when I took it off my head wasn't completely drenched in sweat! Highly recommend it! You won't be disappointed! I bought the flip down visor from Wancar as well. Fits on the helmet perfectly!*I ordered gunmetal gray. It's a lot lighter than shown online, but I still love it.

Not true to size ordered by what measurements indicated and was too small. Was supposed to be free shipping and free returns but they didn’t refund the total amount... they kept almost 30$ for restocking 😡 didn’t say anything about that when we ordered it. That’s a lot of money to lose on something we measured for to ensure it fit. If they would t have charged that we would have ordered the larger size but since they kept some of our money we will find something else.

Ordered this in a small and it fits great. I ordered a medium last year and was a little big but when I wear a bandanna its fits ok wanted one smaller size. Color is awesome... super happy with the fit and style of the low pro 3/4 and still DOT

I usually get these in Dayona Fl. BUT, I needed one for the ride down there this year and could'nt find one from the local Indy. Sooooooo... BLAM!!! got one here. I like um. fits my noggin good and blocks wind noise from my dumbo ears. this one came with a weird little visor.. Kinda cool i guess.. Does not block the wind from my face and I like that

This is a great helmet! I got it for my wedding so my husband and I could ride away on his motorcycle after the reception, I chose this one because it matched my shoes... The metal flake is perfect! The photo does not serve it justice! I love this helmet. It arrived in less than the 5 business days and I was so excited when I found it waiting on my porch!This helmet comes with:1. Du rag--no idea how to spell that!2. Black adjustable visor3. Chin strap, which has a button to pin the excess strap to so it isn't smacking you in the face--nice touch :)This helmet really is great, it's my first helmet so I may just love it because I don't have any experience with them but there are several pros! First, it isn't hot at all, but it doesn't let in so much air that you feel like you're in a wind tunnel. The helmet is quiet enough that my husband and I can talk with no issue hearing each other while we're going 70 down the interstate. It's light-weight but I trust its durability.I only have one complaint. I should have ordered a small. I got a medium because you never can truly judge size over the internet and I didn't want a helmet that was TOO small. Because the helmet itself is physically too big, the strap is too long. So it gets a little wiggly and occasionally I have to pull it down, but that was my bad and I don't think a person who knows their helmet size would have any issue with it running too big or small.Overall, this is an awesome helmet and I want to ride the motorcycle just so I can wear the helmet! I do not regret this purchase and I recommend it to all! Also, it looks great with a wedding dress, leather jacket and some black Ray Ban knock-offs :)Ride Responsibly!

I searched for open face DOT helmet for a long time. I tried the Bitwell and Torc T50 and this is really the smallest one among the two.I purchased the Torc T50HF earlier and in spite of having a superb interior finishing (much better than the Daytona actually) you won't escape from the atomic head.If you are looking for a low profile and DOT certified and overall good interior finishing the Daytona is your helmet.The only detail I missed is the snap button to attach the secure strip... Without it the strip stays loose on your neck...
