This one has the auto dimmer sensor on the side every other one I tried was too damn in the position I needed to use them because even in daylight I thought it was night time so it worked out best for me I got one for each truck

Do Not record accurate total miles when unplugged as advertised. Showed 9 Mi total after driving 9 miles, unplugged and plugged back in after 5 min, showed 4 miles for my total. Unplugged, plugged back in again showed 3 miles total. inaccurate total miles calculated. Second complaint, altimeter is way off, even when set to correct calibration. Third complaint, speedometer is very slow to react, tacks way too long to register speed, you will be up to 10 miles per hour off by the time it shows 5 mph. Do Not purchase this item.

The unit is not too bad and fairly accurate (withing 2 MPH) once the adjustment are made to make sure the speed indicated is correct. Very visible during day-light. BUT, as other reviews point out - It's unusable at night as it's way too bright. The photoelectric sensor does dim the display slightly at night, but it's still very bright and creates a dangerous distraction. If the unit had manual adjustment it would be fine. Disappointing, will be returning.

i have to keep in mind it only cost me $29.00. so i could give it another 1/2 star. i have a speedometer on the car that goes haywire. at times. i have another one on the attached to the computer on the vehicle. and this third one. i wanted to get a more accurate range. this is when it gets confusing. speeds up to 37 miles an hour all three gauges are within a mile of each other. when it gets into expressway that is when it gets to be a problem. dash=85mph, gauge to computer=72mph and this unit=76mph. still no clue on how fast i am going.PRO:1: it works, sort of.. see rest of review.2: plug and play.3: large display.4: easy to attach on dash board.CON:1: screen is large but is blurry. i keep thinking i forgot my glasses.2: there is a delay in up and down speeds.3: the setup it hard to do. even with the instructions the buttons sometimes will not work or randomly do another setup.4: IT DOES NOT COME WITH A CIGARETTE TO USB ADAPTER. yes it is a usb plug so an addition cost will be needed.5: the power stays on even after the key is taken out of the vehicle. so if you have a adapter that remains on it will keep running.6: at night on-coming lights will mess up the sensors so it gets bright then dim and repeats itself.CONCLUSION:i have buyers remorse. i wish i would have saved my money and invested into a gps navigation device. at least then i would have the mapping and speed option.

Works...kind of.Directions are not translated well at all and even if they were, I don’t think they would help much.Out of the box it’s fairly accurate up to 40mph but has significantly lag...that’s if it’s connected to a satellite.It drops GPS often and I’ve found phone apps are far more accurate.

Typical of all things out of China the instructions are garbage. Nothing works as per instructions. I scanned the QR code and got the manufactures web site and still no understandable instructions. This Hud had what I wanted but the time doesn't display and the altitude is adjustable so unreliable. I searched YouTube and got lots of videos of how to take it out of the box but nothing about how to set it up. The enter button and toggle switch do not function as described.

Not user friendly. Button/toggle switch is erratic. I bought it a substitute for a hubodometer. Instrument loses total mileage when unplugged. No good to me. I want accumulated miles/kilometres.
