Sturdy Construction, With Beautiful Fit And Finish
Although the entertainment center has a little darker finish than the picture shown above, it still looks great. The parts precisely fit together, making the furniture appear better than anything you would expect from assembling yourself, and more rigid than your typical particle board IKEA project. The side compartments have a clever swing out design that allow compact storage of many DVDs. Especially due to the heaviness of the veneered dense MDF, putting the parts together can be a challenge but, because the instruction manual clearly illustrates all the many fasteners and hardware, and all the holes are precisely aligned and machined, it was still possible to do it myself in about 5 hours.

Solid and looks better in person.
This is a great buy, it is very sturdy, the wood color is beautiful and looks great in person. The photos don’t do it Justice. We had the Amazon experts assemble and I think it took them between 1.5-2.5 hours to finish. It has ample storage and easy to hook up electrics through the holes in back.

Nice cabinet
This a good cabinet, but when it arrived it came in a 5" long box. At first glance it did not look like it was much but when I tried to move the box that the delivery driver left by my door in the rain and did not ring the bell. So I was in a hurry to get it out of the weather. When I heaved it up it stayed down. This was one heavy box, I man handled it inside and just about hurt myself. this is when I realized that this was not a flimsy piece of furniture. So I got my dolly and moved it into the living room where I spent the next 3 days putting it together. Now the cabinet came complete with all you need is a screw driver. They advise against the use of power drivers. But there are some 3" screws that I would not hesitate to use the driver on. as they are quite tight and hard to screw in. So in this respect I deviated from the directions. They even supply you with the glue for the dowels. Here too I deviated and used wood glue that I knew that once applied it was very hard indeed to break the seal.As to the directions they are concise in that each is lettered and the directions guide you to put it together by sections. Each one needed to be placed just so, As I later found as i started to put the sections together. As it does not label them as to what is top or bottom or front or rear. So i found myself diassembling sections and switching pieces around as I found when I went to put them together that something would be upside down or facing the wrong way.My eyesight is good but only by squinting and staring at the drawings of each section could I see how each deviated from the other. Thus i was able to get it together. I found the putting the doors together was a 2 person job. As they were the last pieces to go on according to the directions. As I got close to finishing it i could not help but notice the finish of the wood and how straight it all came together after i figured it all out.Since finishing I have received many compliments on the cabinet and beauty and quality of it.If the directions had been more concise or the pieces labeled better, thus making this a difficult build I would have given this 5 stars. As to would I recommend it, I do not hesitate with a yes. As it is very nice piece of furniture especially for the price. But with the warning to pay very close directions to the drawings, and take your time before gluing, be sure each piece fits as it is supposed to.

It’s everything I wanted it a tv stand.
I love it! I was looking for a dark finish, the color is as pictured. I’m a 66yo female, I assembled it by myself 4 hours. It would’ve took so long if it wasn’t for all the small pieces for the back of the doors that creates storage for the dvds etc. I hate ordering furniture online, if it turns out to be not as described I flip out… I was relieved that it turned out so so well. WARNING: It says in Directions do not use a drill or tighten screws to tight… it can bust the boards where the screw hole is. Just saying. Don’t go at it like you’re the Hulk. This isn’t made of solid wood. Didn’t happen to me, that’s why assembling took me so long, I hand screwed all them darn screws. Like I said very happy with this.

Terrible
I was really excited about this piece, and very disappointed now. It was a nightmare for my husband to put together. It took him about 3 hours and he’s pretty handy. The directions were confusing and he had to redo several different parts. It’s also very cheap composite wood and isn’t sturdy. When he was finished putting it together, he asked for my help to stand it up (it was lying on the back side at that point), and it seriously started to fall apart. The pieces don’t stay together like they’re supposed to. He had to pull out some gorilla glue to glue some pieces to make them stay correctly. Several pieces also split when he placed one incorrectly. It’s still barely staying together and I’m kind of worried about it’s stability holding our 60 inch TV and loaded with DVDs in the doors. The storage capacity is great and it’s a nice looking design but it wasn’t worth the money paid. The finish is also super cheap and already has some spots that are chipping off. But it was so much trouble to put together, and it technically is holding together for the moment, so we aren’t going to return yet, but we’ll see.

Yes ma'am
I actually like the look and sturdiness of this after everything has been put together. It doesnt feel or look cheap and will not collapse if you cough near it. It's a rich brown with slight red undertones. I guarantee this will not take you 2 hours maximum unless you are a very diligent and experienced assembler. You're looking at 3-4 hours out of your day roughly. The instructions say to use a screwdriver to put everything together but for the love of all that is holy do not listen and just use a electric one or better yet a power drill. Screws will not go in all the way without one! Just pay attention to your speed and pressure so you don't break anything. All in all, fantastic product for the price point.
