These magnets are wonderful. I had no idea what I was getting into by ordering these, but I am SO glad I did! I have cement blocks for walls and wanted to hang my collection of cheese knives/spreaders. I was very skeptical about these adhering and staying to the walls. I put one up and let it "cure" for 24 hours before attempting to stick anything to it. I fully expected it to fall during the overnight hours. It didn't! So I waited another 24 hours....still stuck. I hung 8 cheese knives/spreaders, of various weights, on the magnet, and they are all still hanging there! Not one has fallen, and the magnet is just as I originally placed it, no slipping/sliding. I wish I had thought this idea earlier...I have a lot of spreaders/knives to display. I am going back to order more! I highly recommend these to anyone wanting to display items.UPDATE:I ordered 5 more sets of these since they work so well. Only bad thing is: they did not hold to my cement wall. After 7-8 days, the magnet fell along with my cheese knives. So they are now on the side of my refrigerator, where they hold just fine since it's a perfect surface for this. I still recommend these even though they didn't stay on the cement.

They're great to hold tweezers and anything small and metal in your bathroom to get your counter clutter free. Yet they're still easy to get to.

I've seen these my whole life through photos of modern kitchens. Space-saving ideas even... I get the box. It's HEAVY! Only five, but still - I'm stoked. Peel off the back, stick it on the wall, add the knives cause I'm impatient like that. 2 mins later knives a fallin. Ok, take the knives off. Let the backing "cure" - read the directions... ok. Next day, excitedly put the knives back on. Next day 20 mins later, knives come crashing to the ground. This is some BS. I bring out the big guns. Alien tape. Two pieces either end. Add them knives. They look so pretty. 2 days later... knives come crashing down again. Add a center piece of alien tape - THEY STILL COME CRASHING DOWN. I don't own weighed knives guys. Most of this shix came from TJ Maxx. It's only like four knives at this point. Two small paring knives, two medium knives. The point is - they don't stick - the alien tape doesn't help and I wish I had my money back. Invest in something more durable in my opinion.

I should have read more reviews before ordering. The magnet holds small knives very well but adhesive does not stick. I thought it was because the surface of my refrigerator is textured, but others had the same problem on other surfaces. There were no instructions included, but I let it ‘cure’ for 24 hours, attached three small paring knives, and in half a day, the strip had fallen with the knives still attached! Will try adding museum putty to see if it will stay up.

EDIT - it's now September and it has fallen off of the wall and will not stick back up so I had to toss it into the garbage. Worked well for awhile but didn't even last a year, very disappointing. Was originally applied to fresh dried paint so couldn't have been any cleaner. The magnet is strong but the adhesion on the wall side is not.Super easy to install, just make sure it's level then peel the backing and press onto the wall. I purchased for my bathroom to hold all of the tweezers and nail clippers and other small metal items that seem to always end up lost at the bottom of a drawer. Holds everything I need it to. Hasn't started to peel away from the wall, and nothing has fallen off. Seems to be a pretty strong magnet. Very happy with my purchase.

Love: that it is super easy to install, that it sticks really well, that it has a fairly strong magnetic pull. Do not like: that it is quite thin and short, that I needed to use both strips together to get the surface area I needed.As an aside, if I wanted to use the cups I bought on Amazon that have magnets on the back, because of the way the cup magnets are spaced, I needed to place the magnet strips so close together, Although that is not a fault of these strips it’s the fault of the cups. Just keep in mind that whatever you stick to these strips has to be flat and either has to be very light weight or contain a very strong magnet itself. I did not like that it came in a large box instead of a puffy envelope, that uses too much packaging. However, it arrived promptly and was in perfect condition and it was so super easy to use that I think it would make a great gift for anyone who’s trying to organize their kitchen or bathroom, or especially any teacher who wants to keep her supplies handy or decorate her classroom, (God willing we will have classrooms again one day, but stay safe everyone! Better safe than sorry! Let’s ride this pandemic out together whatever it takes. No economic gain is worth one more dead citizen, nurse, teacher, or family member. No matter what the orange traitor tells you. )

The magnet is strong enough to hold a cleaver but the adhesive came off after 5 seconds! It is therefore unusable!

The media could not be loaded.  I decided to give my office shelving unit’s metal bars a secondary purpose. I was able to stick one of these magnets to the back of each of my 11x14 and 12x16 whiteboards and they stay in place perfectly but can also be moved around easily. I took care to ensure that the adhesive had the time and pressure to stick so I put a heavy book on top for a hour to give time for the magnet to adhere. So happy with the results that my son bought me another 5 pack for my future boards.

Wonderful item. Used in kitchen to have tools readily accessible instead of hunting their right in the working area in full view. Used on my mobile work bench and again to have easy access for the tools being used for the current task. Love that those can be changed whenever a new task presents. Love this item.

Very simple, convenient way to make room in cutlery draws that makes knife selection very easy.
