Great Popper
When the popper quit working at one of the concession stands during Kansas' Biggest Rodeo this popper took up the slack. It popped non-stop for 6 hours. We popped 50 pounds of popcorn with no problems. It popped so quickly and completely. Only one burnt batch when someone (me) got distracted and forgot there was popcorn in the kettle.

We have now tested this machine against the previous Gold Medal and it is superior in every way. Our volunteers like the easy-to-use hydraulic dampener for dumping popcorn. The non-stick bowl has made cleanup much easier. Our yield is much higher and the quality of the popcorn is better, with more uniform product. Patrons have commented about the improvement and sales are up after only one week.It seems like Paragon engineers thought of the simple things... like a green light for letting the volunteer know when the kettle is ready. For our organization, that depends heavily on volunteers to be able to walk up, figure it out, and get going, this is a nice product. Highly recommend Paragon. We are typically making popcorn for 200 people at a time, 5 days a week. On Saturdays, we have 5 shows, so it will be working constantly for over 6 hours. So this gets pretty heavy use.

BEST customer service
I won't lie, we've had issues with almost all of our Paragon popcorn machines (we own a movie theater!), but Paragon offers seriously great customer service. They are easy to reach by phone, they send replacement parts if needed. You will get a good working machine, and if something goes wrong, they are there to help. I highly recommend this company and I'm happy to support them!
