I'm a 60 something intelligent female. My mower kept dying. It would start, then die. Obviously a fuel issue. I had contacted someone to do my lawn for me but hate the thought of paying for something i can do myself. So, I got the info off my mower, and ordered. For twenty bucks, give or take, I ordered this, got it quickly, put it on, and I'm back in business. Mowing. The only minor downside, was it included a fuel line filter which my mower does not have on it. It needs it, i just need to figure out which way it needs to be installed, and I will get the hose clamps and install it on my gas line. Some have an arrow so you know which way it goes, this one does not. But still, mower is running well, new air filter, great purchase.

This carb was a great value, just the air filter and spark plug cost $15 at Home Depot. This was pretty straight forward to install and mower is back to running like new and starting again on the first pull.

the Carb fit just fine, started first pull. I had to readjust the float, it was set too high and would not shut off the fuel to the bowl.

My Toro Recycler model #20016 had seen better days. It still looked pretty good but the last few years it has been running pretty rough. About a month ago I replaced the carburetor with a different one I found here on Amazon. It took about 20 primer pushes and starting fluid to get it running. Shut it off for a few minutes and you had to repeat the whole process. Very frustrating. I started looking at new mowers and ran into some serious sticker shock. Having more time than money I ordered this one. It had a lot of good reviews so I had my fingers crossed that it would work. I didn't use the included spark plug or air filter. I got it installed in short order and primed it three times. Moment of truth, It started on the first pull and needed no adjustment. It runs like a new mower and I'm happy I can eat this month instead of buying a new one.

5/5 - install was a breeze and working like a charm more than a month in. Even if it fails after a year or two it’s still less money than it would cost me to have it serviced. Will buy again if needed.

What a great price and a complete carburetor. I did have to use the old air filter mount from the old carb., but that is fine and to be expected. It's nice to have the extra air cleaner and I'll save it for later.

Had a old lawnmower left from last owner that looks like it hasn't run in years. The original carb was extremely fouled up and was leaking gas out of the air cleaner. This carburetor is universal for 4.5 up to 6.75 HP Tecumseh engines. Mine's a 6HP and it works perfectly. Started 3rd pull and ran very poorly at first. Turned out to be the governor and not the new carb, causing slow/low idle. Runs like a top now!

Something satisfying about slapping a low cost part onto a dead engine and having it jump to life after one pull.I tried cleaning the old carb but broke the main nozzle tube (640080) extracting it. Just the tube alone from Tecumseh was $40. More than this entire kit.
