Very easy application goes on smooth, last a good while depending on activity. Right color match and it’s great!

This is the base I’ve been using for several years. Color & coverage are good. Wish they would bring back the applicator sponge. Haven’t been able to find one I like as much as theirs.

Good product

I’ve been using this powder foundation religiously for over a decade. But now, as other reviewers have noted, the applicator pads are not included. When I contacted the company, it turns out this was a conscious decision on the part of Neutrogena, in order to be “environmentally friendly”. Now I am all for environmentally sustainable solutions, but this was clearly not the driver of their decision. 1. If they don’t include an applicator, you have to buy a new one from another brand with all that packaging etc, so even more waste is created. 2. They didn’t even warn their customers about the change so we could start hoarding the old sponges. They did it quietly, which is not something they would do if it were a decision to be proud of. 3. Now there is a ton of empty plastic in the compact with no use, clearly wasteful. Now I have been using this powder for long enough that if the company had been more forthcoming, apologetic or had offered a different solution (such as offer or sell a reusable applicator to go with the makeup) then I would probably suck it up and buy the powder plus whatever other applicator. But this experience made me so disappointed in the Neutrogena brand that I went out to find other options. I found that L’Oréal true match super blendable powder in light ivory is nearly identical to Neutrogena’s classic ivory powder foundation - and comes with a lovely sponge! I’ll be using this from now on, and will no longer be using any Neutrogena product at all (I’ve also been using their face soap for years, not any more, bye Neutrogena!).

First of all, Neutrogena hasn’t been providing the applicator pad for years now, so that’s not a good reason to give this product a poor review. If you buy it at Target, Walmart or anywhere else it won’t have an applicator either, so just be prepared to provide your own. Or better yet, use a foundation powder brush! It looks even better that way.I’m wearing Natural Ivory 20 here. I was surprised when it arrived because it’s way more pink than the loose powder version in the exact same color. It looks ok once I applied it, but I prefer the warmer undertones of the loose powder option that I bought at Target.It’s very powdery, even over my greasy sunscreen. I find that I need to “set” it with a hydrating spray so my skin doesn’t look so dry and matte.What I like about it? I’ve been using this for years mostly because it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin, stays put throughout the day, is much cheaper than the Bare Minerals version I prefer, looks less like makeup for casual days than the Bare Minerals version, and has no fragrance. Plus it smooths and minimizes my large pores without clogging them. Great for acne prone skin!

I’ve been using this makeup for years and it’s getting harder to find…especially this shade in tan. If you like a medium to light coverage, lightweight, and easy to apply, you may like this brand. I don’t like liquid foundation since I live in FL. This mineral makeup feels as if you aren’t wearing anything. My biggest complaint is that they quit including the sponge with it. What’s up with that?
