Good quality and a good fit. Quite thick denim and is well made. Good colour choice. Bought as a present and recipient was pleased as it was exactly what he wanted.

Great colour - nice solid black rather than the sort of slight washed black that's available and the metal buttons are all nice and dark too, they're not quite black but still dark adding to the premium look in my personal opinion. Look's great with a t shirt and pair of jeans. The jacket is made in China (what isn't nowadays!) and I can confirm that the quality is top notch with a decent, quality weight to it. I also can confirm that the red tab on the chest pocket definitely says Levis on mine. Another reviewer's jacket has a tab with just an R in a circle on it so I did wonder what I'd get but mine certainly says Levis as expected. Apparently some Levis garments do just have this R on the tab, they're still genuine Levis products though. While shopping around for this jacket I could never seem to find a definite answer to the size/fit of the Medium with some people claiming it was too small, some saying it was too big and some saying it was perfect! All I can say is that I'm a slim build, 5'9" tall and the Medium is the exact fit I wanted. It's snug when buttoned up and I certainly wouldn't get away with it being any smaller, so I guess in general the jacket does run rather small. I also could never seem to find a definite answer regarding the sleeve length so I thought I'd clearly state the length of the sleeve on my Medium jacket in case it helps others in future. From the shoulder (where the shoulder joins the sleeve) to the cuff is 65cm. Finally I thought I'd mention the smell which a lot of people mention. There is an unavoidable smell which comes from the strong dye needed for this colour. The best description is a sort of match/sulphur smell. It's certainly not as strong as I was expecting after reading many comments and you can only smell it if you put your nose right up to the jacket, however I'll attempt to neutralize it. There's lot's of tips on the net on how to do this and I'm first going to try wrapping the jacket up with two large bags of activated charcoal to see if the charcoal absorbs the smell. I don't want to risk washing the jacket just yet and potentially losing some of the deep black colour so I'll give this a try first, but honestly, it's nowhere near as bad as I was expecting. If you're after a classic Levis denim jacket in a really nice deep black colour you really can't go wrong with this. Hope this helps.

I’m a petite girl but wanted a jacket that wasn’t tight and short like women’s jackets often are, so I opted for this one in a XS based off other jackets I have by Levi’s and it’s fits as I expected: nice and form fitting but has enough room for a hoodie and cuts just below the waist. It’s got 4 external pockets and 2 large internal pockets but the fabric doesn’t feel like the denim compared to old Levi’s jackets, more just like a thick stiff cotton without the slight silky feel, but that may have something to do with the dye as it is jet black. It does also smell chemically as other reviewers said, but people have also said this on the Levi site along with comments how the jackets are now thinner, so again, that may just be something to do with the colour Berkman. Other reviewers here have also stated that they are fake because there was an ‘R’ on the red tab with no Levi’s written, this is something that happens for roughly every 100 jackets and tabs with just the ‘R’ on can be found in the Levi’s stores. Thankfully mine had the full tab as I would have been a bit upset even though it’s genuine. The buttons are matte black which may seem fake but are also seen in Levi’s stores. I don’t know how the colour would fare in the wash but I plan to avoid that if possible as all black denim will inevitably fade eventually. So overall, it’s what I expected. I’m sad that the quality is not the same anymore but time to move on. It’s hard to find jet black denim jackets and the one on here is is relatively cheap.

Love this jacket. Great fit. Very warm. Usual Levi top quality. My only beef, the pockets are not very deep, would be better if the side pockets had stud fasteners.

Can never go wrong with Levi's. I used to have many branded jeans, some cheap some expensive over the years but for comfort, quality, Levi in is number 1. I pulled the trigger on getting a Levi jacket and I don't regret it. Solid quality, stitching is great, comfortable, good heavy denim, colour looks just like the photo and is a true fit to size. Cannot go wrong!
