This brings the camera far out from the chin of the helmet. Love it.

I use it to video chat on my phone, I can easily turn it to verticam or horizontal mode anytime I want, no issues, which is what I wanted this for.I can amso use the rear camera of my galaxy s9+ and the mount doesn't interferes with it.

Cheaply made but useful for the right purpose. I use mine for my Osmo Action, which I also use as a dash cam, and this ball joint gives me a light weight way of pointing it in any direction / angle. I wouldn't use it in any circumstance in which it would be exposed to even moderate force, but if you just need something inexpensive that affords the flexibility of a ball joint, then this is a good purchase. Just don't forget to treat it like everything but the screws are made of plastic--fully loosen the screws before adjusting, and don't over torque them when tightening. I rated it 4 stars because of its limited usefulness.

Only for use on stills not for action really as the ball joint can move with enough force. But if you use the go pro mounted inside a car, on a helmet or a even a tripod it works great. 4 stars

Works great with external flash cube for photo taking, keeps the cube stable and allows for different angles without compromising versatility.

Item arrived broken, one of the fins was broken off, it was not even in the packaging. Which means it was packed broken! Piece of trash!

Bought this for my GoPro to attach it to motorcycle. It can't hold up to the wind and it vibrates way bad.
