I get so many compliments on my silver hair. It is salt and pepper but this purple shampoo makes my gray glisten a lovely silver color. I am not even tempted to use hair color again.

I've tried a few purple shampoos since growing out my natural grey hair. This is by far my favorite. The formula is thicker than most other brands, it smells great, leaves no build up, and brightens my hair. I love it!

Keeps the grey a shiny silver, my mother told me about this and she has been using it for years, she is 77 and her hair looks like she put a silver/grey frost in her hair with her brown hair . It defently does keep hair younger and pretty , no yellowing or any bad color

After seeing all the great reviews I'm really surprised that this doesnt work well. I ran out of my Schwarzkopf purple shampoo and decided to try this since it was cheaper.I first noticed the shampoo looked different; my old stuff was a thick deep purple and this is lilac. It also lathers a lot, which I've read is not ideal with purple shampoos. After just one use my previously silvery white hair started showing yellow tones. I've been using it for a week now and my hair is almost back to blonde. What the heck! Now to buy a different brand...

My hairdresser suggested this purple shampoo for my silvery hair, along with their spray on conditioner. I like the shine this gives my hair as well the color it leaves. Its’s not drying and I use it every other day. This shampoo is a lighter color purple and my hair doesn’t grab it.

I stopped colouring my hair over two years ago. Just tired of the mess at home or expense at a salon. I used regular shampoo for a while & found my hair getting very dry. Within two shampoos my hair felt silky and was shiny! It's specially made for light blonde & grey hair. I'll continue using this as it's put pretty life back into my hair!

Love this product and used it for many years for white hair. When stores stopped carrying it, I used another shampoo SHORT-TERM that gave my hair a definite purple cast—kids I was working with thought I was “cool,” but it was not the look I was seeking. Was thrilled to find this on Amazon; I order 3 bottles at a time & could not be any happier! Can use it every day without any purpling effect!

Finally let my hair go gray and didn't want it to look dull. This stuff really makes it shine and I love my hair color now.
