A better than original replacement
Access to sink spot is difficult. Installation of Moen product is easy. Looks great, works great. Replaced cheaper version in my master bathroom. [This is as tall as the handle. I would have preferred a shorter top.] Metal feel, very durable.

Great metal feel and solid upgrade over standard plastic soap pumps
Looks great, and works great. It’s a great upgrade over the standard ~$20 plastic soap pump that I bought on Amazon a few years ago.Just note that you can’t adjust the amount of soap that comes out if you push down all the way. So, if you want less soap, don’t push down as far.Yet, the first one sent was clearly used and banged up, and I didn’t buy used.I had this item in my Amazon cart for a few years and never noticed it on sale.

Metal not plastic
Perfect replacement for the cheesy plastic one that came with the faucet. Works well fit perfectly.

Good capacity and looks good too
Looks great and dispenses soap easily - but it sometimes "spins" a bit on the counter top. Our handyman has always been able to install these types of dispensers without any problem, but for some reason this one isn't as stable. The capacity is good, so I'm happy with the product in general.

Moen Soap Dispenser (3942): Easy Install (With a Minor Hiccup) & Feels Like a Quality Upgrade
Spruced up my kitchen sink with the Moen Chrome Deck Mounted Kitchen Soap Dispenser (model 3942), and here's my take:Solid Build & Easy Install (Mostly)The Moen dispenser feels much sturdier than my old one. The weight difference is significant, and it assures me of better quality materials. Installation was straightforward and designed to be installed through hole size 1-1/8" diameter. However, my existing dispenser hole was slightly wider. A quick fix with two 1-1/2" silicone gaskets created a watertight seal from top and bottom – something to consider if you're replacing an older dispenser.Clean Design, Smooth DispensingThe modern, minimalist design complements my kitchen nicely. Refilling is a breeze – just lift the top to access the sizable 18-ounce bottle below. The pump dispenses dishwashing soap smoothly with no leaks or wobbliness.A Note on Refills:While refilling is easy with the removable top, the bottle opening is a bit narrow for thicker liquids, and the reservoir itself doesn't hold a large amount of soap. This means more frequent refills.Pro-Tip for Refilling: To avoid bubbles and frustration during refills, I found inserting a 1' ¼ inch plastic tube into the bottle helps air escape as you pour in soap. The tube extends past the narrow neck, allowing for a smoother refill process.Overall:This Moen dispenser is a definite upgrade. It's stylish, feels like it will last for years, and dispenses soap effortlessly. Refilling is easy with the removable top, but the bottle opening is a bit narrow for thicker liquids. For the price, it's a good buy, especially if you're looking for a solid, well-made dispenser. Just be prepared to get creative with thicker refills!

High quality, solid metal, heavy duty
Seriously heavy duty. I like the shorter stem, it's easier to get soap in the hand. The weight as mentioned is heavy solid metal, feels very high quality. Very easy install, doesn't leak or drip so far. Dispenses the right amount of soap. Would buy again.

MOEN REAL METAL SINK SOAP DISPENSER
This Moen Kitchen sink soap dispenser is real metal construction and not plastic like many are on Amazon. It's pricey, but worth it. I gave it a 5, but if it fails me later then I will come back and change it. I had only one downfall. The screw on ring is plastic. It felt like the the plastic threads were stripping as I hand tightened it. It would not stop turning, but it seemed tight enough to hold. I stopped messing with it, and time will tell. Nobody makes quality metal nuts anymore on any kitchen or bathroom products. I think they want us to buy more products later. Sad, but true. This product said Moen spotless stainless steel, but it actually looks like brushed nickel. Check out my photos. It matched my Delta faucet which is brushed nickel. Most brushed nickel are a coated film anyway. I love that is stainless steel and it looks like brushed nickel. I love that my fingerprints don't show. I would recommend putting a little waterproof caulking sealant around the sink hole before installing it to prevent leakage later on. Also, I recommend putting the white & black washer/gasket on top of the sink and not underneath. I accidentally placed the black washer/gasket underneath the sink on the fixture. It would not stay in place and it became all twisted up. There was TERRIBLE DIRECTIONS on that part. I put the black washer/gasket on top of the sink hole with the fixture and it worked very well. It goes into hiding when you screw it down. Learn from my mistakes and make your life easier. It is easy to put together. Good Luck!

Dispenser separates from refill bottle
While this soap dispenser certainly looks very nice, our unit is NOT easy to refill! The dispenser keeps separating from the long plastic straw piece (which is inserted into the bottle), and we have to crawl under the sink to refill the bottle. I've tried contacting the manufacturer via the 1-800 number provided and haven't been able to reach anyone. Very disappointing.
