Saddlebag Conversion Brackets Mounts Compatible with 1984-2017 Harley Davidson Softail w/Hardware Chrome

Tip: mount to saddle bags before you mount to bike.Read multiple reviews about how these didn't line up and had poor fitment. Not the case. Mounted the small pieces to my bags then aligned with brackets and tightened. Then mounted to my 09 Softail deluxe. Couldn't have been easier! And they look great. Very happy with this purchase

Not a perfect part. But for the cost, worth it.I had to make a spacer on both sides to fit the passenger footpeg in the right position.The quick disconnect brackets (part that holds the top of the bag on) didn't fit well at all and damaged the rubber grommets. I wouldn't advise using them anyway instead get the screw-on kind they are much much better also make sure they come with the nut clip brackets too. Throw out the ones that come with the conversion brackets.The bends are a bit deformed, the holes for the clips are oversized (assuming this is due to lack of quality control so they will fit every bike.) The crome doesn't look very thick.I had to pull back on the bar to install it at the passenger foot peg. This is good it pre-tensions the bars out and helps hold the weight out from the bike.They should have a crossbar my bags move back and forth in the wind at freeway speeds. I will try to make one.They do work for the money. I would likely buy again. But would not put super expensive baggs on them. Without a cross brace of some sort.

Great price. Had some issues getting everything aligned , had no intent of using the supplied bag retention studs & clips system. Once I ground off and removed bag retention studs and removed the shoulders of the studs that that are tack-welded to the frames ,(already had stock spring clips and retention twist in pins.), Had to enlarge two rear mounting tab holes to get the rear bag brackets to line up and figured out that the front bracket goes on the back side of the rear foot pegs mounting screws everything came together just fine . Have not rode it yet but will be fabricate a bracket to tie the two brackets together and or to the fender for stability.If you want a perfect fit and are not mechanically inclined get the ones that are 5 times + the price of these.

Love these I bought them knowing they Didn’t come made for my bike many people with metric cruisers like to use Harley bags on their bikes as to why a lot of modification and these bars work perfect right down to the very last curve amazing amazing super fast seller and a great products very easy to work with I’m looking for more llll The seller has great communication great pricing and the great products I would work with them to show them what I did to make it work for other metric cruises because there is a huge market for that

The bar part of the setup is solid and pretty well made. I do recommend replacing the hardware with some higher grade SAE screws, nylock nuts and washers, (drill the brackets and use 5/16 or 3/8). The clips fall off with very little vibration so I recommend modifying the brackets that hold the saddlebags so you can use nuts, bolts and washers. I did like this product even though it may be a Chinese knock off how to do some modifications to it but that was a given fact coming from another country but I like it looks good but like I said someone that just wants a Bolton product this is not for you I recommend it to other people but I do like it as long as they have some knowledge of remodel find some of the brackets

I gave 4 stars and the installation part because, I have to do some adjusting since I am using it for a Suzuki Not a HD.I will give it a second coat of a good quality rust proof paint.

Solid hardware. No instructions but you can figure it out. If not, have someone else do it. I also suggest changing the screws out. Then tend to want to strip out. But overall satisfied.
