Works for 85 honda fortrax
I had no spark on my fourwheeler and this product solved my problem. There are no replacement products available from honda anymore, and this was a savior. Note that there are two modules that look the same with identical plugs. Look for matching wire colors coming from the magneto case.The coil needed the help of zip ties to hold it in place but works good. I am up an running again and happy that there were aftermarket part for this old fourwheeler.Shipping was fast and I had no problems with the seller.

not 1:1 replacement
works on a 98 honda helix. i suspect it has a different timing curve compared to factory. the bike will sometimes hang-up on tdc of the compression stroke while starting.

This is working amazing
This is a great product for a very cheap price I have a 1987 Honda TRX 250x and we weren’t getting any spark, so we changed everything and put this product in and it works perfectly

Not Great
I bought two of these, 1st one two years ago, I was able to ride almost perfectly except at near top speed I had bogging issues, 2nd one I bought a week or two ago after the 1st one completely burnt out and was no longer able to ride, it only worked half good, push in the throttle half way and it bogs and dies, end up buying a 70$ US made CDI and now my ATV has no issues at all, if you need a CDI don't buy this, the CDIs have short life spans and randomly work only to a certain limit but never perfect, also the ignition coil started to corrode as well on the positive plug in

Works great on our 1988 trx250x
After testing and verifying the pick-up and stator coils were good and ran on a 5 wire square CDI, we confirmed the original CDI was either faulty or from a different machine. Plugged on this CDI and Ignition Coil and immediately had spark as needed. To those with the "Reverse" staying on constantly -> cut the solid grey wire going to the CDI. This will cut the light but still allow it to turn on when in reverse. OEM CDI used this wire to limit speed when in Reverse.

Atv runs great with cdi and coil, but the reverse light stays on at all times. No change when the atv is shifted to or back from reverse.
