Laptop Cooler Fan, SANOXY USB Powered Laptop Cooler Pad

This is a small laptop cooler. It is designed to sit on a table not your lap. it must be used on a hard surface since the blades on the bottom are exposed. It is made of a thin plastic and is not meant to be roughed around either. I paid 6 dollars for it all together including shipping. It does what it says it will do, cool your laptop, and the blue light it gives off is cool when the lights are out. I would recommend this to someone if they just need one for kitchen table bed side stand ect.

The laptop cooler itself is perfectly fine but it is so thin that I have to tiptoe around any handling issues. I won't carry it anywhere unless I have the box it came in to put it in. I could easily break the plastic with one hand and I am a very skinny and not very strong.Two Days later:Follow up to my initial review. This laptop cooler, with it's thin plastic frame aside, is one of the best I have ever used so far with my 17 inch macbook pro. Before my laptop would constantly crash. Programs wouldn't work and I would have to limit my usage to suit the heat being emitted from the laptop. Now I can do whatever I want. I guess it wouldn't hurt to buy a just in case backup of the exact same one seeing as how the price is cheap and it actually does the job in comparison to my previous failing $40 laptop cooler.

I bough this because I needed to quickly get a fan to cool my laptop; the temperature was in the hundreds, dry and dusty and my laptop was getting very hot routinely. I needed to get one fast but didn't want to spend a lot of money on one that I didn't research first and I didn't have time to do that so I bought this one.This is so low priced that I figured that even a low quality fan would work for a while until I bought a better on. I didn't mind that it was plastic and many people said that they were disappointed because it had to stay on a desk because I didn't plan on carrying it around with me. However, I expected that at least the fan blades would be metal. They are not, they are very thin plastic. I feel as if I have to be very careful so they don't break.Overall, for me this isn't worth even the small amount of money I paid for it. It simply doesn't work well. It cools off the bottom of the computer a bit but not as much as I would like and I'm not even running any extensive programs or games. It has stopped working a few times, I moved the usb cable around and it started up again. Also, it makes noise most of the time. Nothing obstructs the blades, they just are loud.***Updated 9/10/2013-After one month this product has died. It went from working somewhat, sometimes to not at all.

UPDATE: The bottom of the fans don't have any protection, so its a pain in the butt to keep this on your lap or any hard surface at all. The USB plug has also broke on me. I tried to take it out and the entire thing came off, so now its just a broken USB thing thats a pain to get out of the slot, and the extra slot it provided is now gone. I ended up just breaking the fans off and attatched them to my PS3, they all still work till this day.I got this for my Toshiba Laptop which was starting to get hot all the time and my old 30 dollar cooling pad didn't do anything to help.For 5 bucks it was worth a gamble, and I am glad i took it. For starters, the design of it that everyone is talking about is indeed pretty bad. Its basically a sheet of clear plastic, with 3 small fans screwed to it. There isn't a back portion to it, so the fans will not work if you set this on your lap without a hard surface to block them. The wires are also just dangling out there when I got it. There is a little clip to hold them in place, but they still move around a lot.Everything else about it is great though. my laptop was getting super hot due to the air flow not being that great, but it has yet to even have the internal fan kick on since I started using this. I put my hand over the fans and while they are small, the air circulation they provide is great and its really cool. The bottom of my laptop is even cool, and you can feel some of the air blow out from the sides.The lights don't have a switch or anything, which is somewhat annoying when you don't want them on but you want the fans on still. However if your laptop is newer the fans and lights will only stay on through sleep mode if you have it plugged in to an AC adapter, otherwise the usb slot shuts off.The USB adapter it includes is a life saver too. My old fans didn't have this so I was constantly out a usb slot, and while its somewhat hard to plug things in, it works fine. The fans also use less power than my older ones as they are smaller.Overall I think its a great buy. The design flaw was somewhat expected as you are only paying 5 bucks for the thing, but the use of it is better than my old dual fan one that costs 20 to 30 bucks. I just hope the fans keep working and don't die out any time soon.

this product is fantastic it was for my mums laptop to keep it cool as she is on it more or less 24/it keeps the laptop cool and allows her the usage without over heating I would defo recommend this product to anyone who uses there laptop often

You get what you pay for, except in this case, poor shopping on my part, I found the same item later at 50% of the price I paid. That alone is frustrating, but nothing compared to the flimsiness of the plastic board. And thanks to the poor gripping of the rubbers under those 4 legs, my laptop now feels like it's a hockey puck! As for the cooling efficiency, the temperature dropped 11 degrees, 10 of which are due to the elevation, and another degree when I activate the 3 weak fans...

Back when I didn't have the money for proper laptop coolers I would use these.They are flimsy, but are actually amazing at cooling, especially for the price.I have found the cooling better in these than some of the 40$+ coolers on the market.The cons is that they are flimsy.
