Great price, perfect fit

This product is well worth the money. Very sturdy, the lock actual worked and the fan was decently made. The top plate unscrews so that you have easy access to wire everything up. The fan cord is a bit of a pain as it doesn't seem very sturdy. The two prongs and cord were not something I anticipated but it did work and didn't make much of a hassel.It does come with wall mounting anchors and screws as well. 10/10 will buy again.

I've mounted this on a metal cabinet I purchased a while back and it mounts perfectly on any flat surface. One thing to consider is that the top of the box can be screwed off with a Philip's screw driver. I bought special screws that are rounded off the edges and has a star shape rather than the + shape to further extend the time limit if any thieves decides to try and take my NVR. My home has an anti-theft alarm and will summon local authorities within 20 min. It is plenty of time for trespassers to cause some havoc in the meantime, so the box is sturdy and I've set it up so that any tempering extends the time period for law enforcement to arrive. It's definitely worth the peace of mind that maybe someone can break in but the most they can do is a hit and run. If it so happens at least they can only take what they can grab and run. The box as mentioned is heavy duty approximately 10lbs so only a premeditated strike would be the slight chance for anyone to be able to dismount this box. Only having the right tools at hand will give someone enough chance to try and take the visual evidence of their crime. Conclusion: definitely worth the buy. If you have a safe keep at least one of the keys inside.

The dimensions are smaller than listed for the internal size listing. Take like an inch off the inner width.I did turn around and order the same brand from the same seller one size up and it worked. Good versatile design.The other complaints about the exposed screws are indeed a security flaw. You might have to either use one way screws, security screws or rivets if you want to really keep a meddling sneak out of your DVR. For the price, its still good even if you have to "fix" it up IMHO.

We use this case to in an area that is easily accessible to others. It stores our DVR. The case is well made. The parts are all high quality, the fan works well and keeps the equipment operating even when the ambient temp is pretty high. The locks are good and keep inquisitive hands from getting to the equipment. Could you pull the wires out the back? IN our case yes, but if you shielded them to the box (with conduit), it would be pretty difficult. If you need a security container for your DVR and security recording equipment, check this out.

It is a well constructed box but have in mind that it is 1/2” shorter.

Identical to the 200$ unit at ADI. The fan was loud because the filter was rubbing. Once that was resolved it worked great
