To reset, push or turn knob?

To reset you have to turn the knob on the side. Turn it backwards and it will rest to zeros.

Hello, anyone knows if this counter has metal or plastic gears inside because plastic gears tends to slip after using the counter for some time.

Metal. The counter has a great feel to it. Solid and well made.

How loud is the click?

They use they in the warehouse. It is just a slight tick noise. I don't think it's loud. Maybe like knitting needles clicking. Hope that helps. I know they use them all the time and like them. They last much longer than the plastic ones.
