I originally planned to return this set after receiving another one I had bought, but I couldn't bring myself to part with this set because it's so nice, and the brush hairs felt really good. Based on looks alone, I would recommend this set. I also love the sturdy feel of the knives, and I'll update this review after trying out the complete set.

Incredible value
These paint brushes are super versatile, high quality, and create beautiful strokes on your canvas. My wife absolutely loves the sock nest, easy cleanup, and of course, the results they give to her artwork. Definitely a great buy!

Just what I needed.
I just started getting back into my painting. This brushes serve a lot of different purposes. Sometimes you need a good stiff brush.

Okay for beginners or students but low quality
Brushes work nicely for a little while and then begin to shed and fall apart. I’ve bought twice now and both times the brushes began falling apart after ~2 weeks. Fine for a student but not worth the money. I suggest purchasing a better brand for long-term use. The glue that holds the bristles seems to be water or liquid soluble; leaving your brushes in cleaner or water overnight will make the shedding way worse, which is my mistake but worth a mention.

Very cheap brushes that are not even student grade.
I am disappointed and do not recommend these brushes because the hair fell out right away. The first time I used the brushes during clean up all of the hairs fell out of a large brush. Later I tried another brush from this set. I am still plucking off individual hairs that fell out onto my painting that time. Don’t waste your money on these.
