CAT6 two-piece connector review
This review is for the CAT6 two-piece RJ45 jack. I have to specify because the reviews for multiple products are lumped together. This is a two-piece jack. After you insert the wires into the guide you put the guide into the jack and crimp. This is not easy to get the hang of, especially if you have never used a two-piece jack before.I strongly recommend finding a video demonstrating how to use this. But I will give you a couple of quick tips. First, get your wires straightened out and in the right order, then cut them at an angle so the end of each wire is a little shorter than the one before it. This will make sliding the wires into the guide MUCH easier. It's nearly impossible to do if they are cut straight across. Then push the guide down and trim the wires at the other end of the guide, but right against the guide. Now the wires are all straight and go right up to the end of the guide. Finally push the guide all the way into the jack and crimp. If you did it right you'll have a properly terminated cable.Be sure you have the guide in the correct direction before you insert the wires.

Pass the test
I have used a lot of RJ45 connectors over the years in my field and these are by far the best I've ever used. The load bar is pass-through but the connector itself is not, which works well. I have a number of crimpers and they have worked in all types we have. These snap and lock into patch panels, routers, switches, etc., like you want.Pros:+ Load bars w/pass through+ Easy to load+ Easy to identify load bar direction with the grooved top edge.+ Load bar loads easily into the plug+ Bonus punch down tool for those that need one...Cons:+ Not many if any extra load bars...

Beware, not your typical RJ-45 connector!!!
When I purchased those I didn't even notice that they come in 2 pieces and they require double the work vs regular RJ-45 connectors. I purchased them because they claimed to be gold plated and they weren't pass through, since I've had bad experience with a few different brands of pass-through connectors. Beware that these connectors have 2 parts and if you misplace the bag with the wire "guides" or if you loose any guides along the way, the RJ-45s by themselves are unusable! Also, the so called "guides" significantly slow down the crimping process, and as an IT professional who makes 20-30 of these on my jobs, this is a big disadvantage! When I have to install cameras in uncomfortable locations like poles, or high buildings, and while on a ladder or hanging from a roof, it is just impossible to look for the 2 pieces in my pocket and then to crimp a proper connection with these! Bottom line, if you have a lot of time and you want to experiment with new ways to crimp RJ-45 connectors, then buy these, but I am sure that they will be discontinued in the near future so it would be a complete waste of time, and for the price they sell you can actually buy double the amount of regular RJ-45 connectors...

READ THIS BEFORE BUYING !!! YOU MAY BE HORRIBLY SORRY.
This is by far the worst product I ever purchased on Amazon, hands down, no contest. Not only bad, but in fact dangerous to your equipment. These should not only be banned from selling on Amazon, they should re-call all that are out there. The problem is that they don't crimp correctly. Yes, I am using a high end, ratcheting RJ45 8P8C crimper, of which I have no other problems with other connectors. Read the reviews and you will see others with the same complaint. First, the crimp does not go down all the way. If you look at the side view of the RJ45, you can see the piercing tabs on the contact don't penetrate well into the wires. Leaving you with an "iffy" connection at best. But wait, the worst is yet to come. After creating a couple of cables, I of course plugged them into my network cable analyzer, and it ruined my equipment. I'd like to sue this company for a replacement of what is a pricey piece of test equipment. The problem is the contacts are not flush after the crimp. If you look at a side view, you can see the gold contacts sticking up beyond the individual channels of plastic. Thus, when pulling them out of my cable analyzer, the contacts on my analyzer jacks got hung up and mangled. The repair was not easy. The analyzer is a quality piece of equipment (not like this junk), and the jacks are mounted on a multi layer, double sided PCB. It takes a professional de-soldering station and luckily my 40 years of experience to do it right, and a lot of patience. Three jacks in total, all got mangled by these low end, out of spec connectors. You can see this in the forensic photo after removing the jack. So I bought the "True-crimp" brand of the same load block style connectors, to see what happens. They crimp perfectly! Same crimper, same cable, same technique. No, I am not affiliated or endorsed by them in any way. I am just telling you my true experience. Quality vs el-cheapo junk. I am not big on throwing money in the trash, but I literally threw this whole bag into the trash in the alley!

Not pass through connectors - tried a dozen times before giving up.
In the hours I spent messing with these connectors and the paired Ampcom crimping tool I was able to get two of them to make a connection to my switch - briefly - for about 5 seconds before failing. Unless you insert them *perfectly* so the wires all line up together, and crimp in the same fashion, they simply don't make the connection. If they were pass through connectors this would have been super easy to deal with - you just cut them after they've passed through, then crimp, then you know your wire color order is correct and everything is tightly connected. Unfortunately, Ampcom has no interest in making things simple. When using the paired crimping tool, I found that it didn't hold solid after 1-2 crimps, but by the 3rd crimp the connector was damaged and also wouldn't work. They are definitely going back, and I'll buy pass-through connectors from a company known for their quality.

Didn't work for me
Bought these as I needed to run a cat 6 cable up into the loft. I've used a lot of cat 5 connectors in the past (some good one, some not so good) and although it's not my trade, I'm know how to fit them. I bought these on the understanding you couldn't use cat 5 connectors for cat 6 cable. Anyway, long story cut short. Ran the cable connected these ends, no signal. Reconnected these ends, same again. After third attempt I thought it might be the cable, it was a full box I found in an empty warehouse we've recently taken over. As a last resort before buying some more cable, I thought I'd try the cat 5 connectors. Bingo! Worked straight away. Suffice to say, these connectors reside where they were left. In the loft, never to see the light of day again!!! Sorry guys at Ampcom, as you might have guessed, I cannot recommend this product

Just another connector
The quality is decent, but i don't hear the clink sound after plugging it in. My crimping tool is not of impeccable quality, but so are these connectors. The plastic quality was better than that of NT connectors. If i were to make a decision about purchasing it again, i would go for D-link connectors.
