Beautiful mug
Beautiful mug, love the quality of Villeroy and Boch. I have had a Christmas mug of theirs for years and love it so I ordered this one to have year round. It's the perfect size and makes drinking tea and coffee even more enjoyable.

Looks and feels like Chinese-made porcelain!
The mug is aesthetically nice and pretty and a good size. However, the porcelain has no premium smoothness shine, colour vibrancy and feel. It is rough in places. Nowhere does the country of manufacture appear in print - neither on the mug itself nor the box and packaging. I guess, like others, Villeroy & Boch have gone downhill producing inferior quality items in China for a bit more profit.
