The inside and outside handles are different. The inside handle is very easy to grip, making it easy to open the door. However, from outside, the handle doesn't stick out as far, and doesn't have a design that you can grip. You have to use just your fingertips to pull the door open and both my husband and I have a really hard time with it. Oftentimes, my fingers slip off of it, while I'm applying pressure to open the door and I end up hurting my fingers and bending fingernails back. (I have pretty short nails, too). I would not recommend this door handle.

I bought this to replace my "whistler style" wooden handle type set that finally broke completely. This set is beautiful and brightens up the whole room! The product arrived very fast, and was easy for me to install by myself. The latch mechanism is adjustable so that it is easy to position with the existing drill holes, and the latch also works perfectly with the old lock and mortisse set that I still had. Looks very sleek and modern, nice hand clearance as well, and a secure, sturdy pull. I rent, so this was out of pocket, but a very worthwhile purchase! i wish i had upgraded sooner!

Bought this to replace an old handle set. Ended up using the exterior handle for the old set to keep a matching side but for the interior side I used the handle with the latch. Looks good and works well. Satisfied customer.

easy installation, product description helped, and i can lock my door again. personally i would have been better spending a little less for what it is but satisfied.

Did a reno on my old house and was looking for a replacement sliding glass door handle/lock. There are a number of sizes/designs. I found this one and it fit well and was the look I was going for. Good price and shipping options, too.

The screws do not stay tightened. I tighten them with the screw driver, but after I open and close the door several times the screws loosen and the handle becomes loose. I have retightened them twice now and problem persists.

looks great, easy to install. one screw had some chunk of metal on it but I just used one of the old ones. pretty universal handle, looks sharp. I am ordering a second one now

Installed easily. The handle isn't as thick as the wood handle it replaced.
