Cover is Thin. Board is Sturdy. Love Iron Rest.
I live in one room so need to save space. This ironing board hangs in my closet unless I'm sewing. The iron rest is a godsend - no more melted plastic sewing table. The cover is very thin. If you're creative sewing places have a heatproof fabric and I bet you could make a cotton twill cover with better elastic and more padding. The one that's on there does the job for work shirts and lengths of fabric. One person mentioned it collapsed on them. There's a silver piece on the bottom that looks like a hook to hang it from. It actually swings up and latches on the board when the legs are open to prevent the collapse. You can't lean on this as you iron, but it does the job then stores out of the way. Happy with it and will just make another cover if this one wears out. It's good so far.

Can be used while folded down!
I wanted a small board for sewing projects so I don’t have to take the big board out for every little thing. I wanted to keep it near my machine, so needed to use the top of this bookshelf for ironing. After trying several different mini boards, it’s this one that finally worked! I needed to be able to use it without extending it up on its legs because that would make it too tall. This one works while folded down! Nothing is in the way, and it’s stable enough to iron and to use the iron rest. I typically use a wool ironing mat so it’s okay that the cover isn’t really thick enough on its own. I love that it’s all metal, too. I have used it extended up as well and didn’t have any problems with it, it was just too high since I have it on top of a book shelf instead of a table. Feels sturdy and stable enough either way. My iron (Singer SteamCraft—love it!) is pretty heavy and the iron rest holds it no problem either way. I do wish the iron rest was angled a bit because my iron’s auto shut off kicks in if I leave it in the stand too long, but that’s probably a good thing really.

Good replacement for full size ironing board
What’s good about it: Love the size of this ironing board. The legs don’t block ironing something tubular that you need to pull over the nose of the board. That was important to me, as I use this in my sewing room. I keep the legs locked and hang it sideways on my old ironing board hooks. So now it is quick and easy to use on my cutting table, and quick to put away. What’s bad about it. The padding that comes with it is a little thin. I added one piece of insul-bright batting to reflect the heat and put a new cover over it. I made the cover by cutting down an existing one I had on my full size ironing board. The ironing board also slides around on my cutting table. I need to add some rubber or felt around the legs to stop it from sliding. With a few alterations it is perfect.

Good but not great!
I wish some instructions had come with this. I had to test to see how it was made sturdy. The metal prongs go into holes in the frame and the latch that keeps it compact has to be put underneath the frame to hold it steady. Since I didn't know this in advance it collapsed on me when I tried to set up, however after I figured that out it was sturdy and I like it.I used a travel iron so the iron rest didn't fit it. It is designed for a full sized iron.

Nice Iron holder...and have rubber bands available
I took off 2 stars cause I spent an hour of my time to fix the cheapness. I knew the risks was there due to the price. After putting rubber bands on the legs to get it to stop sliding, I had to jimmyrig a piece for the front to stoping it from bowing and tipping when ironing towards the front pointed area.Do love the iron holder. It’s been an adjustment to place it face down...as my mom always yelled about not doing that with her iron. All in all ... I’m keeping it.

Weak Flimsy and just not right
The quality is very low make from weak Tin and the plastic support lets and cover were missing ( the white piece)Metal itself is of super low gauge that makes the net mesh of the board very weakthe pad is so thin if you iron with a regular pressure your shirt will have the square impression from the thin sheet metal Mesh netting.Worst is the cover it is so small that you cannot fold over properly and the think thread is held by a interlocking sewing that frays off easily .Base stand is super flimsy with a clip lock that keeps coming off and folds overThe only 1 thing that is correct compared to other boards is this boards width is slightly wider and easily holds the side panel of you shirt .The Height : they got that right I like the height perfectt for floor or table top as well. Now has anyone retrofitted this thing with a correctly cut ply board so that it is strong ironing area?Looking for a better cover for this can be used for a few months as is.

Disappointing
I wa so looking forward to this board, but first time out of the box it gave me problems. It feels solid, but the brace underneath that keeps the legs up, on the one I got, didn’t connect right, so as soon as you touch it it falls down. Maybe it was just a fluke, but I’ll probably try a different one.

B-....At best
Poor material choices make an otherwise ok product a B grade purchase: hard plastic bumpers on fold out frame allowed ironing board to slide around when ironing. Not what you want! I removed and set soft rubber bumpers which fixed problem...It works..nothing more.

Seem high quality, but breaks after a month
I bought this ironing board to keep under my dresser for when I iron my dress clothes. It works perfectly fine... until it doesn't. After about a month, the steel supports underneath snapped for no apparent reasons besides what I can only assume is a design defect. It didn't even snap when I was using it, I just opened it up one day and it was broken. It works great, but the metal supports underneath do not last long at all.

Size not as described
Looks like a good solid ironing board but the size description is misleading. The ironing board itself is only 32 inch. When you include the pull out rack, then it is a total of 39 inches. Did not use it because I already have a 32 inch ironing board at home and was looking for a bigger one.
