I needed shirt straws for short cocktail glasses. They are very good.

Purchased to use as stirrers in cocktails. They work well most of the time. Since it is a natural product there is variability in the diameter of the hay straws. Some are big enough to actually drink through other are really too small. The real issue is that some of the straws are more fragile and if you have a lot of ice in your rocks glass and use it to stir they can bend and then that's the end of that. Overall I like them and this will not stop me from buying them again.

I've purchased Hay straws a few times but this time I was moved to count them b/c the box was unsealed, the opening was very loose (like they'ed been opened before) & there was lots of extra space in the box for more straws. Turns out there were only 6 missing (a week of use for me) so apparently there's always plenty of extra room. What bothers me the most is the unsealed loose opening & this batch contained the poorest quality I've seen (many were so skinny I wonder if I'll be able to sip through them). I need to see if this is the same vender I've bought thu before.

I ordered another box after using the first box I got from World Market. However, this time there were too many broken ones and the size is not consistent. I liked this idea of not using plastic straws, but I do not think I am going to order these again. Plus, I found that my metal straw was thin enough to be used instead.

100% good quality. Retro is the way to go. Forget the pathetic paper straws!It will have a bit of a grassy taste when you sip with it because it is after all, made from straws. But I don’t mind.

I didn't want to use plastic straws for environmental reasons. Didn't want to use paper because I hate when they get mushy. These are the perfect replacement. I LOVE the way they look in a tiki cocktail. I ordered 2 more boxes so I can always have them on hand. Great price and product.Only three things to be aware of before you buy:- These straws float in a glass without ice.- You can't chew on these straws.- I suggest always using two stars in a cocktail.

Holds up well and perfect for cocktails. These are more durable than paper straws and can hold up for many, many hours - definitely long enough to last in the same drink for the duration of a long party.Bonus part, I like chewing on it at the end of the night after my cocktail … because I’m that person (and yes- it tastes like hay/straw).Excellent buy - will continue to purchase these.

Obviously this will disintegrate after a few uses (especially with alcoholic beverages). However there is no weird taste or smell to the straws. And it didn’t soften up or get soggy like paper straws. I still hand washed them in cold water and dish soap and let them air dry before first using them and afterwards. Loved the look of it in my gin n tonic cocktails. Recommend if you don’t want plastic or paper straws.

First off these straws are very short, they wouldn’t even fit in a highball. They are super flimsy, and don’t work well at all. I wouldn’t recommend these.
