Contacta Induction Loop Listener - RX20

I'm not sure about this device. I brought it to check if the loop system in the local church was working satisfactorily. The resistance of the loop seems to be ok and there is plenty of loop current indicated by the driver/amplifier. So far I have not heard a thing!I went to try it at a neighboring village hall but the loop was open circuit, but at least I found the break in that loop that I'll get round to fixing some time...

I returned this item because it was obvious that it had been opened previously and probably returned.

This really is an excellent piece of kit. Its very compact, has a pleasant feel, and is very simple to use. Powerful output means I don't have to crank up the volume. Clear audio means you can be sure of hearing everything you need to.

This is a excellent product for the hard of hearing ..money well spent 👍👍

I am hard of hearing and wear hearing aids, but they do not have a telecoil function, so I could not use the induction loop in church. The echo in church was a real problem for my hearing aids.This gadget has been an absolute godsend (literally!). I can now hear every word in church. I use my own earphones as the headphones that come with the set are a bit flimsy. As you obviously use this without your hearing aids, I was concerned it would not be loud enough for me through my earphones - I need not have worried. I have moderate hearing loss and keep this at the lower to medium volume setting and it is really loud and clear.This is a great, cost effective solution for people who want to use an induction loop in places of worship, theatres, banks etc but do not have hearing aids that support it. Highly recommended.
