I bought this bowl for my boa constrictor's new enclosure. I wanted something that was sturdy, wouldn't shift around, but was light enough to pick up with one hand to change the water. I could not have designed a better bowl. Most items designed specifically for reptiles are very expensive. A large snake bowl of this size would have cost me around $80 plus shipping and a great risk of breaking in transit. Plus I would need two strong arms to lift and carry the thing. This one is absolutely perfect. I will probably buy the bigger one for her future 'pond'. Buffy does love to swim.

I have three dogs. Small, medium, and large. This holds enough water for them and they can all reach. This is my "outside" dish. They used to have a large metal bowl, but it rusted and would get so hot in the summer.I have the giant green one and have been using it for months, so far I have not seen any icky build-up. It also does not get near as hot as the metal bowl.

I'm using this first one as a food container for my two cats. For some reason they prefer to eat from the same dish so I tried this one and they seem to enjoy eating again. I'll be buying another one soon for their water container because again they prefer togetherness so I'm extremely happy that they're happy again.

We like the extra large size and "rectangular" shape. It holds a gallon of water which is great for providing drinking water for our spayed/neutered feral cats. Multiple cats can drink out of it at same time. We do not have to refill water as often and it is not metal so it is safe being outside for winter too. Cat's tongue could get stuck to metal bowls when it is freezing outside. Friend has one just like it in the kitchen for his large dog that drinks a lot of water. Excellent product. Highly recommend.

After trying to find a large, good-looking water bowl for my kitchen locally, I browsed through the ones available on Amazon. This one is perfect! I bought the one that holds 1.5 gallons of water and could not be more pleased. It is sturdy and attractive. It looks great in my kitchen. Best of all, dogs can drink their fill & I am not refilling it constantly.

Got this for my one year old ball python. very happy with it and he seems to like it too. my only complaint is that it did show up with a crack on one of the legs, wasn't a big enough deal to send back. Over all I am happy with the product!

A much better alternative to the large glass dish and small plastic Christmas cookie container! I'm so glad I found this big bowl. Much lighter and serves the needs of my Bassett and chi-mix! I give it a big thumbs up!
