Henna Hair Color and Conditioner Persian Mahogany Medium Auburn, Red, 4 Oz

I love this l!! It gives a beautiful mahogany reddish brown color and it covers stubborn grays.

I have been getting different shades of red for my 85 year old mama - Not a grey hair on her head! :) She loves the shine and feels that it keeps her hair healthy too. Easy to use and fast delivery. This is a wonderful hair product. It may seem a bit expensive, but it actually lasts quite a while.

Henna is such a great alternative to conventional hair color, and this product is great. I was a natural dark redhead all of my life but now it's fading as well as getting a bunch of grey. I wanted to do something about it but so much didn't want start coloring it as it's pretty difficult to reproduce reds that look real and natural and frankly I'm not interested in the maintenance that dyed hair requires. After finding the right blend of a couple of different henna tints, my hair is exactly the color it always was, with all the dimension and variation of natural color. An added bonus is that it's super conditioned after application and my hair feels great. Henna is definitely the way to go, and this brand offers a great choice of colors.

So after having used a lot of chemicals in my hair I decided to get henna to give it some good stuff. I read all the reviews on this product and kept it on for 1 hour as I didn’t know if it would come out too red. I had no problem mixing it and putting it on but when I washed it, there was almost no color... meaning no change in color. So maybe I kept it on for too short time. If anyone has any suggestions please help me out. The hair looked shiny and healthy for sure but not much of a color change...

Works as described

I let this henna (medium auburn) stay in for just 10 minutes---far shorter than the recommended time---and my hair came out bright orange. I have followed directions for removing henna, both with dishwashing detergent and warm mineral oil. After two overnight treatments of mineral oil and several treatments with dishwashing detergent, it has faded a little bit to yellow. I am embarrassed to leave the house and be seen. If you use it I recommend letting it stay in for only a couple of minutes. It is also difficult to get it distributed evenly.
