France Luxe Large Rectangle Barrette - Onyx

Having coarse, curly hair and lots of it, I had decided I would never find a barrette I that would really hold in my hair. I ordered both the mojave and the black and I am very satisfied with my purchase. I wouldn't normally spend this much on a hair accessory, but the reviews were so good I decided to give it a chance. I was glad I had read many reviews that stated the barrettes look like any other cheap barrette when you first open the box, but they are so much better. They easily hold 1/3 of my hair up and will stay all day with no readjusting. I've NEVER had a barrette I could do that with (1/3 is a lot for me). I can actually get the barrette around all my hair, but I haven't tried wearing it that way for very long. It seems like it could be a bit straining and I don't want to break it when it works so well with a partial pull-back. I'll update if I get brave.

This is the best, most responsive company I know for this kind of item. This barrette is perfect & worth the price. France Luxe is the best brand I know. I have nearly 20 of their barrettes.

I wanted a back-up for the barrette I've been using for years but the France Luxe site was out of stock on the pattern I wear so I bought it here. The plastic is gorgeous and I believe it's the original France Luxe design but the clasp is far flimsier than what I bought directly from them. They must have had a bad lot, which they're selling here. Once it's gone I hope they will return to a sturdier clasp. Until then, I'll just keep wearing my original.

Nice barrette for large pony tails

I have short, thick, fine hair. This works well for pulling most of my hair over the top and back. I have never tried putting all of my hair in it, so don't know if it would work. The reason I am utterly sold on this brand is that they don't rip out break my baby fine, tangle prone hair.This particular barrett is even prettier than the photo. It's sophisticated geometric pattern. There's a touch of iridescent which plays light in different areas per light. It's not sparkly. It's not matte. It's eye-catching and unique.

These barrettes are simply beautiful. After years of my thick hair breaking cheap barrettes on a regular basis, I did my research and found France Luxe. These not only hold my hair easily and securely, but they make it look so much better! Considering I was breaking on average 2-3 barrettes per month, I view the higher price as definitely worth it—I really wish I had found these sooner! These are high quality barrettes, and the different colors are simply stunning.

It is a beautiful barrette and it is obviously of very high quality.It does hold my extremely thick hair but is a tiny bit tight. I will probably use it for containing half my hair as it is much too beautiful to return. It would probably work well for most with thick hair though as my thickness is unusual and I am also a curly. The design is so lovely and looks so nice on my hair (which is very dark brown/black) that I am looking for other products with this design.I will certainly order from FranceLuxe again.

I had a clip similar to this years ago, and since it gave up the ghost I've struggled to find a replacement. This is a bloody expensive hair clip, but I think it is well worth it. I have long, thick hair and this holds it without a worry. Doesn't seem to be too damaging to my hair either.
