Just perfect
Really cool and perfect for war gamers. Solid and reliable.Led is also of help, especially for small counters.

Fine pair of tweezers
The tweezers are solid and easy to use. The little light is kind of pointless and seems to be crooked in any event. We ended up removing it.

Invaluable, but an odd battery size
James Hamilton (aka Stumpy Nubs) included these in one of his "Cool Tools" episodes, so I thought I would give them a try. It's funny, I never would have thought that adding an electric anything to a pair of tweezers would be anything other than one of those insane useless tech things the Millennials seem to like so much. But oh contraire! That little light really is super handy. I never knew I needed another pair of tweezers, and now James has sold me two (I also got the needle point ones he reviewed for pulling splinters, which I would also give a thumbs up). Also on the plus side for these tweezers, even though they take batteries, they do not have an app - what a relief.

6.5 in Tweezer works great for Wargaming
For me, as of Nov 09, 2015, the 'General Tools & Instruments 70408 Bent Tip Lighted Tweezers' proclaimed in this description was received exactly as described. I use it for wargamming same as other reviewers have mentioned. I was a little concerned after reading that some reviewers were receiving a tweezer different than what was described from some vendors, but I am happy to say, mine arrived exactly as described from a vendor named Cyberguys..The length listed on the box is 6.5 inches / 165mm long which is from top end of tweezer to tip end if you were standing it up on its end for purpose of putting it in a particular length of box. I measured it myself and it is accurate. If you were to measure it from top end to tip as far as total length of tweezer metal arms it would be about 7in as the end of the tip goes out further since it is bent at an angle. i noted that in case you wonder why some are saying it is 7ins long.It has a small light beween the tweezer arms that uses 3 LR41 batteries (included). The light works great, although not sure I would use much for what I do and I do think think the light is sufficiently bright enough for what it is intended for and shines a beam down on the tweezer end.I have bear paws for hands and this tweezer tool works great for me to pick up small wargame counters to move them around. The item is professionally packaged where you have to remove it from a plastic shell with all the item details on front and back. I note this because I have seen some items shipped where just a small id tag is attached to the item and there is no plastic shell surrounding the item and so you get sent an item that you hope was unused that just gets thrown around the shipping box. This item I received was indeed professionally packaged and I am very happy with the purchase.

Very useful but I use it in a way not intended.
I bought this because I have a dog that east cheat grass that gets stuck in her gums. These tweezers are perfect with the length and light to see and pick the cheat grass out of her gums.

not what i expected
the tips were not very sharp, and the light is blocked as soon as you need it as the tips get closer. great idea, but needs a new design

Great for wargaming!
Purchased two of these tweezers for the purposes of wargaming, and they work like a charm! One thing to note is how BIG they are, which is great for maintaining control over an unwieldy stack of counters, and the "heft" certainly gives them a nice balance in your hand. The yellow sides are a durable rubber, providing a better grip for your hands. When picking off the top few counters of a stack, they work best while angling the pincers downwards at a 45 degree angle. To pick up an entire stack, simply invert the tweezers so the pincers are level with your game map, and grasp the bottom-most counter, lifting the whole stack in the process. These were recommended highly on the BoardGameGeek wargaming forums, and I'd say they were well worth the purchase.

Poorly Constructed, Worthless
I bought these to keep in my woodworking shop to pull the inevitable splinters out of my hands. Positives: The light is bright.Negatives:The tips are not the same length, off by about 1/16". That immediately renders them useless for gripping anything smalller than a marshmallow. Not only are they different lengths, but they don't touch each other at the tip. Instead, the arms of the tweezer come together about half an inch back from the tip, leaving a 1/8" gap between the tips. Very poorly constructed, worthless waste of money. DO NOT BUY!

General Tools and Instrument Tweezers
I use these tweezers for moving counters on board games. They work well and fit in my hand comfortably. Based on my experience I would recommend them to anyone using them for the same purpose. These tweezers are slightly smaller in size (compared to the Drok high-temperature resistant tweezers that I also purchased on Amazon), but they still do, want I want them to do.
