Atoma Diamond Plate Knife Sharpening Flattening Whetstone Replacement Blade #1200

Well I thought this was a stone because I didn't read. Instead it's a flat metal plate with adhesive on the back meant to attach to a aluminum plate and lap other stones...That being said I realized my mistake when I got it, slapped it on a stone holder and I just use it like anything else and it works great.It took my knives from sharp to sharper. I finished a few on a sharpal 1200, then cut test, then used this and cut test and the difference was huge.I plan to buy an atoma 400 and attach this to the reverse side, making it a double sided 400 and 1200. This diamond plate is quality. Even looking at it you can see it's amazing construction. It was a mirror finish and hexagon pattern.

Great product. First one arrived bent. Second one didn’t. Seems like a one off problem. The stone itself works great.

My kitchen and pocket knives are razor sharp and the stone doesn’t show signs of wear. Has no problem with M4, 3V, Magnacut, Cruware and softer steels. Easy to clean and maintain. 100% recommend.

Overpriced hunks of junk. They do not sharpen at all.

Fantastic for lapping whetstones and for correcting geometry issues in straight razors and setting the bevel fast. If you own a Gold Dollar straight razor using the diamond plates 600 and 1200 should make life a lot easier to get it honed up.
