Got the chrome version. Looks great on the 2015 Honda CRV. Shape mirrors a similar chrome piece on the rear of the car. Simple installation, read the instructions included and followed them precisely. It is a simple one person installation, but I had an extra set of eyes present who could move around and assure I had the placement correct before I started pulling tape. I am not sure what it would do to the hood of the car if you ever had to remove it. Hope I never find out. I did not give it a 5 star rating because I discovered AFTER I bought it that it should not go through a brush type car wash. This could be an important point for some, one that should have been in the product description. I will use a touch-less car wash, hope it will hold up to that type. It does protect the leading edge of the hood from damaging road debris, don't know if it will keep down the windshield bug splatter, as it fits flush and gives me no indication it will alter the airflow over the hood much. If you travel too fast in speed trap prone areas, this will increase your forward reflectivity, (just a thought).

So far so good. The installation was easy but you will probably want to pull 3" of tape instead of the 2" the instructions call for. The logo "button" looks like it "moved" a bit already as there is some adhesive for it exposed. This is a good solution for the rather flat front of the hood that I can imagine would have gotten chipped up quite a bit with all the miles I drive.

It has a minor defects but over all is on

Edges were clean and smooth. Installation was easy but take your time. There was a few millimeters of overlap and you don't want to set the adhesive tape too many times. Worked well for me covering a small ding. Hopefully it lasts as good as it looks.

It looks cool and protects the edge of the hood from nicks in the paint.

Buyers be aware, $60 for a shiny piece of plastic is a bit high .. I installed it perfectly following the instructions, since you only have one chance to get it right, however the bottom edge is almost touching the headlights on both sides (too long). My only concern is that dirt will now get stuck under the molding with no way to clean it .. I wished they used a magnetic strip instead of 3M, which will ruin your hood finish if you try to remove it.
