Love it. I bought the clock with the chime but no pendulum. The Westminster sound is so beautiful. It turns off between 11pm and 6am as it says and that time frame is adjustable if someone sleeps during the day. Follow the instructions, they are important in this case especially. The instructions could be improved. For ex going past 12 if it does not ring. And adjusting clockwise only. It means that the clock is ringing night hours instead of day time. Adjusting for one hour forward was easy.

Chimes beautifully on the hour and keeps good time. You can adjust the volume and it's pretty.

The clock fits perfectly in the spot I wanted, and the Big Ben chime is so nice to listen to through the course of the day. And it shuts off at night.

This is a very nice solid wood clock it’s definitely worth the money. The chime is Ok it’s not really loud a little ‘tinny’ sounding but overall not bad. I read the instructions enclosed with the clock and inserted the battery but was disappointed to find that the chime did not work. So I contacted Amazon to start the return process. The next day I began browsing for a replacement and as always read reviews from other customers. I decided to take another look at the clock and discovered a different battery section on the bottom of the clock that once 2 more AA batteries were installed the chimes worked!

I really like the looks and that it had sound. Very disappointed in that it says the batteries are sent with clock. That was not true. Didn't get any batteries.

The box was pretty. Made by Bulova. I couldn't believe my eyes; how beautiful this clock is. The perfect size, the perfect color. It is a quiet tickless clock. It chimes on the hour. I set mine not to chime between 12:00 a.m - 6:00 a.m. it is a beautiful chime. It is loud enough, I can see the time from across the room. I am so happy with my purchase.

Wanted a mantel clock that chimes. This clock has the Westminister Chime on the hour, HOWEVER it does NOT chime the actual time each hour. (Like one, two etc.) This was not stated in the description. But a nice looking clock for the money and it is a good brand....Bulova. Looks good on a small mantel, like 6-8 ft. but would look very small on a larger mantel. Takes 3 AA batteries, two for the chimes and one for the clock.
