Love this. The Wi-Fi does not work as well, but I expected that. Can no longer sit at the end of driveway and use the Wi-Fi. It works in all other parts of the house, though sometimes a little slower at times. Still works fine and I’m very happy knowing much less exposure is happening.

Want to Tame EMF from Router? Here's the best answer!
I looked around for a long time before I settled on this box unit and it is the BEST! This is a Faraday Cage (fancy term for any wire mesh box that contains EMF produced inside and shields from EMF coming in from outside). The design thinks of several things that other brands do not. (1) it is a substantial heavy duty wire cage that really is tough and will go the distance. (2) The unit is designed to allow most routers and their wiring to fit without problems. (3) The unit splits into top and bottom halves so you DO NOT have to disconnect any power or connector wires to set it up. This is mission critical as when you unplug your router, you will likely erase all settings which means you will need to reset them yourself (good luck) or pay a service call to have your provider send out someone who knows what they are doing. With this unit, all you do is divide the box, fold in the router and wires, ease the other half into place - and VOILA! You are in business! I used an EMF meter to measure EMS output of the router OFF, RUNNING BEFORE and RUNNING AFTER and this unit returned the EMF output to the same as it was with the router OFF. This one works!

Solid product.
I bought this product a few years ago and have been using it faithfully. I see a lot of mixed reviews.. Understandably as each wifi router might emit more or less frequencies; so as to say this product might not be for everyones router, depending on its strength of signal it's emitting. In my house, we have a Cox wifi router. We live in a small, 4 room house. From my room, I cannot even get Internet on my computer when the shield in on. Which is a great sign! I haven't tested it with a meter. But I feel safe knowing that the signal is not traveling as strongly when sleeping. I have to take it off during the day so the wifi can reach all the rooms in my house easily as many of us work from home.Overall great product. I have been sleeping well. Recommend it if you have a Cox wifi router!

Really reduced RF signal strength (EMF) of router
I received and installed my Large WiFi Router Guard today and took some before installation, and after installation, RF readings using a Latnex AF-5000 EMF meter for those who claim this guard doesn't work. Standing near my router, before installation of the guard, I was picking up peak RF readings of 24.84 Milliwatts (mW/m2) or 24,840 Microwatts (uW/m2) (pic 1). After installation, I was having peak readings of 1683 Microwatts (uW/m2) (pic 2) which means the RF was reduced by the router guard by 23,157 Microwatts (uW/m2)! Further away from the router sitting on my couch the reduction was still there but less dramatic as the couch is 10 feet away from the router, but still, I was getting readings of 1628 Microwatts (uW/m2) (pic 3) before installation and 928.6 uW/m2 (Microwatts) after installation! That's still a reduction of 699.4 Microwatts (uW/m2) (pic 4). I would call that a success for this product!

this really works
My router is only a few feet from my desk which I work at for hours at a time. This is not healthy and was effecting my sleep. I bout the large wifi router guard as my wifi system has two units and I needed to be sure they would both fit and they do. I do not have a reader but I know it is working for 2 reasons. My husband and I are sleeping better ( especially my husband, the difference was 2 more hours per night right off the bat!) and when I am in one room of the house I cannot get a good signal which was never an issue before. I don't have that problem in any other room that I frequently use, but the one room it effects if I take the cover guard off the wifi works great if I put it on it does not. So I know it is a direct correlation and is working. I highly recommend this product.

Needs rubber feet
Considering how expensive this thing is, when it's just a metal cage (albeit a metal cage where the holes probably were not sized arbitrarily), I feel like the least they could've done was stuck some rubber feet on the bottom. As is, the cage has a fairly high potential to scratch whatever surface it is put on. That said, it works well enough, and it fits my router, but just barely - my router has all the wires coming out on one of the long sides, but the hole for them is on one of the short sides.

Works for my EMF sensitive wife.
My wife has a mild sensitivity to EMF radiation. We installed a new HughesNet Fusion system and my wife began to tingle. Not painful, but uncomfortable. I felt nothing. After installing the Router Cover her tingling stopped. A few days later I removed the cover and forgot to put it back on. She began tingle again and did so until I put the cover back on.That’s the good news. The bad news is it does impact the signal. In our case this isn’t too bad an impact and I have patch cable for a direct connect to the router should I need it.This cover is not a perfect fit for our Fusion system, but it fits well enough to stop the tingles.Your mileage may vary.

It actually works
I measured the EMF with a cheap, old gauss meter and the reading went down from 30 (highest) to 0 around my router after the cage was put on it.
