What should i do if the meter reads "ol" when i turn it on? i've already tried reconnecting the probe, but the problem persits.

Hello Philip, Thanks for your question. Depending on how long you have the meter, it could be that the manual record log is full. You will have to press the SET button 8 times to get to the mode for clearing the data. You will need to press AC/DC or Min MAX to select N for (NO).
