These bars do the job & are inexpensive. They do come loose but I've never had spinlock bars that didn't. Nice & heavy mine have the fat grips. I rate them for quality & price.

Great solid product, plenty of width each side to hold a decent amount of weight

The lock nuts don't stay tight. This is a common problem and my other ones do the same, but these are worse for it than my other ones. The lock nuts from my other bars do not fit these bars despite being for the same size plates. The handles are different from my other bars. That is neither a good or bad thing overall but for me it looks odd on my rack. I do like how these feel in the hand though. Overall these are a good set of bars for the price. I bought plastic plate locking clips which I can use after the locking nuts to stop them loosening too much. These are colour coded so each weight of my dumbbells has a colour assist to its weight. That way I know at a glance what weight dumbbell I am picking up.

I bought these 14in bars to go with an old set of Body Sculpture plates (1in diameter). They fit perfectly and the spinlocks have a rubber seal that tightens nicely. One of the spinlocks arrived slightly damaged - probably in transit - but when I contacted the seller, they responded within a few hours and sent a replacement immediately and without any fuss. Absolutely brilliant customer service.I'm not using them with anything over 5kg at the moment (small person, relative newbie), and so far the spinlocks are holding very securely. I'm not sure the chrome finish would survive heavy use (the damaged spinlock had lost some of its finish, exposing jagged metal). All in all, though, I'm very happy with these - they're great value.

I purchased the 18 inch handles specifically to fit 10kg plates on. Well one up with 40kg and pressed it and everything was perfectly good. The only thing that puts me off a little is that the stop ring at the bottom of the threading isn't totally welded on so I won't be over tightening those anytime soon. All in all, I'm very satisfied with them.

These are solid 1" bars with good locking wheels.Recommended

Exactly as described and look identical to existing sets I have but the grip feels really rough, almost sharp when gripped. Will have to see how I get on but might need to get gloves or just use them with light weights
