Absolutely Amazing - does its job! 🪴💚
Usually when I go away for long I leave my plants with friends, and I honestly don’t like it because of ferrying the plants and also for the care of they are given when I’m away.I was planning for a three week vacation and I started researching on how I can get my plans to self water. I came across this product and necessary to give it a try, but I knew deep down. It’s gonna disappoint me.How pleasantly wrong!I left my plant for three weeks all attached to this ceramics end water and let me tell y’all when I came back. My plants were thriving 💚They were actually doing much better than they do when I am home.Don’t second-guess , buy it if you intend to be away for some time.. just follow the instructions on how to properly link up your plants with the water and enjoy seeing your plants looking so healthy when you come back

Great for vacations!
This small watering cone of terra cotta like material works really well inserted into the soil of a potted plant. My mistake was to rest the cone against the inside of the pot (lack of space in the dirt) and the water ran like crazy, flooding the plant saucer beneath it. The cone needs to nestle in soil on all sides, not against the pot on any side. These were small pots, and I'll try relocating the cone.

My plants love this...
Thank you..

Works well/Effective
Had a couple of geranium plants that I brought inside for the winter since they were still thriving in November. Fast forward to December/January when I was traveling and I used this to try to keep them going while I was away. Worked great. They were still hanging on and blooming when I returned after 2 months away. Geraniums can withstand significant neglect and still bounce back, so not sure what the outcome would be for more demanding plants, but, this set-up worked very well.

Great item that does exactly as described
I bought these to keep our indoor houseplants watered while we were on a two week vacation. Not only did they do a great job of keeping my plants alive, they absolutely thrived. They work so well that I’m leaving them in and now I only have to water one central pot about every ten days. The six plants I have using these look lealthier and stronger than ever

Worked like a charm
I went away for three weeks and needed something to keep my plant watered. I bought these plant watering stakes for my big plant and they worked like a charm. When I returned, the plant looked better than it had ever looked! Highly recommend.

No useful instructions provided with product; huge mess
The only reason I gave more than 1 star was that I realized much later that I did not set these up correctly. The only instructions provided were a set of 5 vague pictures on the package with no captions or explanation. I only just now found the detailed flow rate instructions in the hidden Amazon product description online, and realized maybe I shouldn't just throw them all away after my failed attempt.I filled the cone piece with water, closed the cap, placed it into the soil, and placed the other end of the tube into a basin of water positioned higher than the level of the plant pot, for each of 6 indoor plants. The next morning, it appeared the water had continuously run through the pots until it seeped out of the bottoms, overloading the drip trays and soaking into my windowsills and carpeting below. I immediately removed everything, cleaned up the mess, and set up the system again using pieces of string instead of these things (one end of the string about an inch deep into the pot, the other end in the basin of water positioned higher than the pot). When I got back from vacation a week later, almost all of my plants were perfectly healthy with just the strings watering them. One of my plants might have benefited from additional water that might have been provided if I had installed the cone things correctly. So for the most part, cheap string works, but I might give these cone things another try for my larger/thirstier plant. Also, one of the cone pieces arrived broken. In a time crunch, I just glued it back together instead of doing a return/replacement. The packaging is a thin cardboard box with an open "window" to view the product inside, and this was delivered inside a bubble envelope, so it was likely crushed during transit.

Worked great!!
Worked great!! We left for 20 days and ordered these to keep a couple of plants alive - a monstera and a small palm. Both were thriving when we got back. I'm thrilled - this is the first auto water tool I've used that actually worked.
