The sun screen us great for sun protection on my patio. And it's chic in appearance so compliant with apartment rules. The fabric is durable and quality is sturdy while the color is neutral. It was easy to install however had to be clever on an apartment patio where hardware could not be installed.

Original Review: Bought two of the 16x16x23 triangular shades. Our deck space is 18x18x26. We installed them with one corner of each sail approx. 12" lower than the other two corners to allow water to runoff, and they were tightened as much as they could be tightened... they looked great, perfectly tight to the point the wrinkles/creases from being folded in packaging were stretching out of them...prefect! Loved them and they worked great keeping our deck shaded as it faces the South so the sun cooked our deck otherwise! Strung lights around them for ambience, hung plants/lanterns from the posts, put tiki torches up to keep mosquitoes at bay and got lots of compliments when we had a cookout for Labor day... I was overjoyed at how nice they looked, adding character to our otherwise boring multi-level deck. Then it rained ... I came home from work and both were sagging along the longest side so bad that i had to duck under them.. I'm only 5'2"...they were originally install 7'6" up on the lowest side, and about 8'6" up on the other two sides. I assumed it was because it was a fairly good downpour with a steady rain all day and it just weighed them down so I wasn't too disappointed at that point. My husband tightened them back up, they looked great again and they were once again perfect... Until it rained again..this time only a very light rain for a couple hours, most of the time it was only misting, like a foggy mist. Once again they sagged. So regardless of it being an all day rain/downpour or a light mist for a few hours, they will sag when they get wet. Too much work to have to tighten them after each time it rains.UPDATE 9-9-19: We decided not to tighten them back up after the last rainy day we had just to see if they would tighten back up on their own once the sun came out and they had time to dry... and they did about 98%!! I'd imagine if you live in a rainy region, you may need to adjust them every so often, as it seems when they're wet they stretch out causing them to start to sag a bit at the seam along the longest side, but otherwise the heat of the sun will shrink them back up. I have changed my review from 2 stars to 4 stars.

This has exceed our expectations. So easy to install and put up and down ( heavy rain and wind). It keeps the sun off the deck and house. The fabric is wonderful. When you drive by or pull up to the house it looks elegant. This is definitely something to consider if you don't want an umbrella especially for carrying up and down stairs for a deck.

My wife and I live in southern Florida.... long hot summers.... we have a small lanai that heats up in the afternoon sun.... this shade keeps our lanai several degrees cooler so we get to enjoy sitting outside much more of the day than we would otherwise.... we are very happy with the quality of the canopy

Easy to setup, and looks great

We purchased this in Mid July 2023 and finally got it put this up at the end of August because we had to install 6" x 6" treated posts cemented into the ground to hold the sail in place. When I went outside this afternoon I noticed one of the sides is beginning to tear.I call the phone number listed on Amazon for customer support and had to leave a voice mail. I will update this review when I hear back. Today's date is 10/20/202310/23/2023-The phone number on Amazon is not correct. The number listed Beginning with 337-230-00XX is not correct. This number is someone's personal Cell Phone. The individual call me back and said they are getting a lot of calls regarding Garden Expert Sun Sails and is getting frustrated with Amazon.I will update this review in a few days to give all interested additional information as it progresses.10/23/2023 - Garden Expert has zero Customer Support! However in typical Amazon Fashion they stepped in and allowed us to return the torn sail. Product is still poor quality so don't expect it to last very long! Buy another brand the ones we bought 3 years ago not are still in great shape! I just wish I knew who the supplier to Amazon was. Guess it's time to do some research in my buying history!

Nice big canopy, but not waterproof and it spilled on us. Did like the canopy and glad I bought water misters because it retains the heat underneath.

I bought these to shade our decks in the hot afternoons. There were no defects and installation was easy. I bought heavy duty screw eye hooks and carribeaners from the hardware store. Removal for winter and putting up in springtime will be easy.
