I ordered these to add a layer of protection for the girls when running and jumping at the PE class.The pad is thick and I added a photo to show thickness compared against 4 keys. The pad will follow the contour or the leg to a point but you will perceive an odd shape on the leg (not a problem to us).The sleeves have a rubbery texture on the upper part to avoid running down, minimal adjustments are needed during the play.Price-quality balance is there, recommended.

I got these for my nephew when he started to do more contact sports. These are not super tight so it does not cut off any circulation or make it harder to move around in. It does keep the knee pads in place so it does not slide around. This provided a good amount of support when playing sports or doing activities while also providing additional support. My nephew found this comfortable. He did not have any issues with putting them on and getting used to them. It will be harder to bend the knees due to the pad so just be aware of that. It has been great for helping keep my nephew safe from injury. So far I have found no issues with the tension loosening up. It has not been changed due to hand wash cleaning and drying. I would NOT machine wash this. The material does not cause any kind of skin irritation or chafe the skin. The band fits well but just be aware this is not adjustable so it may not work for everyone. Regardless, it provides really good support and is not too hard to put on for my nephew after a few practices. He had to take time to get used to to walk around in this. Overall my nephew has done well in these compression leggings with knee pads. The band is supportive but the pads do make it less flexible. It takes time to get used to walking around in these. They promote blood flow to help with fatigue and pain as well as provide some support.

These knee pads are great value for the price! They are comfortable, easy to put on, and they stay in place. My 13yo plays basketball and these work great for him. He's 5'3 120lbs. Hand wash only

My 7 year old plays goalie, which involves a lot of diving for the ball. He had beat up his knees pretty good, so we decided to get these. They're awesome! Flexible through the knee and he had his full range of motion. They stayed up well, and were relatively easy to get on and off. We got a medium because my son weights around 75 pounds and is very muscular. They fit well, with some room to grow! I'm really happy with these, and he is too.UPDATE 10/7/24 - My son has had these for a month now, and tonight a hole ripped in the knee. The padding is still intact so they are still functional, but it doesn't look nice anymore.

My son is very active in sports, but has always had to work extra hard on coordination, having had several years of OT & PT for some developmental delays . He's starting to get into playing basketball with some tournaments this summer and 4th grade basketball coming up in the fall. He has a tendency to fall frequently and land on his knees, so my husband really wanted us to get some extra protection for his knees. When I found these, he said they were exactly what he needed.My son wasn't sure if he liked them at first, but as he spent some time in them, he got used to the feeling and was ok with them. He played in a tournament this past weekend and was able to put them on properly on his own and they stayed in place perfectly. Plus I think they kind of made him look like a baller, lol.He is a very tall and skinny 10 year pld and the size small was the right choice for us.

The sleeve has heavy chemical odor. It is not good for kids. Definitely need to wash it before using. It is bigger than expected. It can provide protection due to its thickness of knee pad. It is comfortable, but I do not recommend it due to its chemical smell.

This pair of kids knee pads is really high quality! They are stretchy yet firm to the skin, they do not fall off or scrunch down. Fits perfectly on my child and keeps them from hurting themselves while playing sports. Great compression as well!

I got this kneepad set in small for my skinny 9 year old and it fits him perfectly. My son is an avid soccer fan and a player too. He plays for the local club and also practices with his dad in the neighborhood. He always has his shin guard and cleats on and these kneepads provide him an extra layer of protection to deal with hit on the knee or while falling down He is a fast runner and a really good striker (resulting is a good goal scorer) so gets fouled quite often and sometimes he would have to come off the field. In normal cases also while running they fall and hurt their knee, this has happened on concrete too and you can only imagine what falling on concrete does to the knee. Ever since this came not a day has gone by where he has not worn it and I have washed and dried the pair every time in perma press mode. This is a very well made product and always comes out of the Laundry "as is". No shrinking or threads coming out or wear and tear. I have to get him another one before this one quits on me. I do highly recommend.
