I wasn't sure what to expect with these as the description was confusing about wetting the socks. However, based on other reviews I thought I would give them a shot. I would not classify them as soft, but they are not itchy either. They are just thick socks. They are a nice quality. I don't wear compression socks to compare, but these are a little tight, which is what I was looking for. I would have liked them to be just a bit longer. They are longer than a crew and shorter than a knee high. So they are a little tight at the top, but not unwearable. Most importantly, they did what I needed them to do. My legs were not itchy while I wore them which kept me from scratching. I will wear them and would buy them again.

They have a smooth but thick texture to them. It's not cotton which is easily stretched out, so they fit more snugly and prevent uncomfortable rubbing. My son has eczema, has sensitive skin, and has issues with his feet. On top of that, he has sensory issues so he's also picky with materials against his skin. I had him put on a pair after we applied his foot cream. He said they were comfortable and he kept them on overnight, no problems. The socks help up well with his foot cream.

They are unbranded, there’s no marking or description indicating the exact cotton percentage, but I'm confident it’s a blend with a high cotton content. Very, very comfy socks!These remind me of the US made Hanes socks that you still could buy like 10 years ago. I wish they were still sold that way, but these Chinese-made socks are a solid alternative.

These Silicherry Eczema Socks seem very heavy for the thickness of the sock. They seem to have an extra layer of soft fuzzy fabric on the inside below the ankle which makes them thicker and more comfortable there. They are very smooth inside and out. My feet did not noticeably sweat in them even when I got warm doing some gardening.I found them to be a little tighter than was comfortable when I had them pulled up the full length. This is very typical for me with socks. I pushed them down around my ankle and they feel fine.There is no mention in the listing of what material they are made of or how to wash them. I washed them on delicate cycle with cold water and dried them on medium heat. That seemed to work fine.I was happy to get these and discover I can wear them as everyday socks. I normally wear thicker GoldToe socks and expected that these would be too thin for my comfort, but they actually exceeded my expectations.

Woke up in the middle of the night with my feet burning, not from heat, but from what felt like sime kind of chemicals in the socks. Took hours to stop hurting. Threw eight pairs if them away.

These are very soft socks, great on the skin, and add a good amount of cushion to the soles of my feet. The socks are completely black and look professional. They have a bit of compression to them but are not overly tight. They are good for moisturizing and hydrating my skin throughout the day as they are great for holding body cream. These have held up well to many washes. I am happy with these socks.
