Well made and seems durable
My husband put this together b/c he needed a project...he was very impressed with how well it was packed in the box, the quality of the item, the directions, and the ease of putting it together. Granddaughter gets it this weekend for her birthday - so do not know how durable it REALLY is, but it seems as if it will last. The hanger are heavy cardboard, so not sure how well they will last, but I found a DIY on uTube to make wire ones, which turned out fine. Its very cute...but only gave 4 stars b/c the curtains are not really fitting well - I would have changed them out, but since I didn't put it together, did not know they were kind of skimpy....however I'm sure GD will love this and not even realize the curtains are not quite fitting properly.

Well made and designed but I have a few suggestions
Overall this wardrobe is the perfect accessory for all of the American Girl doll clothes. However I definitely have some pros and cons.Let's start with the pros. I really like how the screw holes were inset so that the screws aren't poking up out of the wood when you are finished. I also really liked how the center piece had pegs to go into the bottom and the top and fits a lot more securely than other furniture and dollhouse assembly methods. The shelves and the back of the wardrobe slide into place which seems like that should hold up well but was a unique design that I hadn't seen before. Now for the cons. For starters the screws were all in the same bag and, this is partly my fault, I did not realize there were two separate sizes when I first started assembling. So when I put the feet on the bottom I used three of the correct screws ans one of the smaller size screws. Of course I had no way of knowing which ones went where. So when I moved on to the next step and saw that I needed smaller screws for the shelf under the mirror I had to play Russian roulette to unscrew each of the legs before I found which one had the small screw. Luckily it was my second attempt when I found it. My other biggest gripe is, while these pieces are numbered and labeled very clearly, the stickers absolutely do not come off well at all! As you can see from one of my photos you leave dirty marks from where you remove the sticker. I'm not sure if it's worse, having a number of sticker on the furniture or a dirty sticker mark. I really wish they could design less sticky stickers so that these come off much more easily! This wardrobe took me 27 minutes by myself to assemble but this time includes unscrewing two of the feet to find a small screw and also the time it took me to scrape off the stickers on all 17 or 18 pieces. Overall I really like this piece, just make sure you separate your screws before you start and maybe have some sort of a scraper on hand to see if that works better than your fingernail removing the stickers.
