Shop around, because I just bought mine for $317.24 US, which includes shipping.It's great. It has all the detail they claim, even the movable roof vents. The greatest is the SOUND!!! It has two whistles on one button, weird, but one of them sounds hauntingly cool. The engine sound itself is nothing like you ever heard from a steam engine, because this has a turbine engine.Runs great, and has power to perform.The tender is a little light, and has problems on smaller curves, but other than that I am very well pleased with this engine. Hornby pulled out all the stops, and it shows!!!

I didn't like that the locomotive already had the DCC chip already fitted and installed which makes it very difficult to run the locomotive when you don't have a DCC controller.

The fit and finish on mine is excellent. The loco goes from smooth crawl to normal speed like a dream.The DCC TXS sound is very good and I love the whine of the turbines.I fitted the extra headlamp, a little fiddley but it works just fine.Encoding the loco from #3 to #6202 was easy, did it on the main without Hornby DCC app.I've yet to fit the supplied loco crew (painted well).I'm very happy with my purchase, I think it's worth every penny.
