Great bike and affordable
Manual is for different bike, pretty difficult to figure out and adjust alone. However, it was well worth the effort, once put together this bike is very comfortable, good quality build and gears, and reliable. Find me zippin around town.

Review of build quality and assembly
This review is only about the build quality of the components and the ease of assembly of the Avasta Uranus bicycle. I ordered the blue color bike in size M and paid for it entirely myself. I have received no request or compensation to provide this review. I have not put enough miles on it to do a review of the riding characteristics yet. Avasta doesn't provide this information but the stand-over height of the assembled bike is 31 inches. I am 6 feet tall with a 34 inch inseam and I found the bike to be a little smaller than I would like but still comfortably rideable as a fitness bike. What is included in the box:The components are well-packed into the box with plenty of cushioning to prevent dents and scratches on the paint. Besides the bike frame and wheels, the box contained the front and rear fenders, rear rack, pedals, kickstand, front and rear reflectors, paper manual and tools for assembly.Build quality:I am impressed with the build quality considering the price of the bike. The welds are very good, the frame is straight, the assembly points for bolts and screws all lined up easily, the brake rotors are thick and true, the shifters and derailleurs are name-brand components and the blue paint is a beautiful, glossy metallic flake with no visible defects.Assembly:I have experience fixing cars, motorcycles and bicycles and doing repairs around my house for the last 30 years. So, trust me when I say that the assembly manual which is included with the bike is completely inadequate for someone who has never put together a bike before. It covers the generic, basic assembly steps for several models of Avasta bikes (and the reader is expected to understand whether or not an instruction is applicable to the bike they have). The manual does have a QR code which is supposed to take you to an assembly instructional video, but it just goes to the main page of the Avasta bikes website and none of the instructional videos I found on that website were for the Uranus or even similar models. And half of the instructional steps end with telling you to take it to a professional bike shop to have them check/adjust/complete the assembly for you. Boo!The frame came with the derailleurs, cables, front fork, chain and rear wheel already assembled. The brakes and shifters were pre-attached to the handlebar and the seat was mounted to the seat post. I had to:1) mount the front brake caliper to the front fork2) attach the handlebar to the stem and tighten it down (the most difficult step without proper instructions)3) put the quick release spindle in the front wheel and attach it to the front fork4) attach the front and rear fenders5) insert the seat post into the frame and tighten6) assemble and mount the rear rack7) mount the kick-stand (no mention at all of the kickstand in the instructions)Using my prior know-how with cars and bikes, I was able to figure out and complete the assembly by myself in about an hour and a half. The screw holes in the frame where brakes, fenders and other components mount were well-positioned but just a bit oversize (i.e. the bolts were a little loose or wobbly in the holes). I used some medium-strength threadlocker (not included but I highly recommend) on all of the screws and bolts and this fixed the looseness and will prevent the screws from coming out on their own over time). I was surprised that the brakes and derailleurs were already almost perfectly adjusted right out of the box. I only had to do a minimal adjustment of the cable tension on the rear derailleur to get it perfect.Overall:For the price of this bike, the features it has (name-brand components, disc brakes, fenders, etc.) and the build quality are impressive. The assembly instructions, however are completely inadequate and assembly will be challenging for someone without prior experience doing this.

Great bike
Nice quality for the price. Love the lightweight aluminum frame. Seat is a bit hard so I replaced it with a more comfortable one. Pleased with the purchase.

Amazing deal of a bike
I can't believe how affordable this bike is! First off as a former bike mechanic, I can't believe how well packed this bike was amazing. The tools that came with the bike were high quality enough to reuse for other projects. The build spec for the price is impressive. My only complaint is a fender bolt was cross threaded

Great bang for the buck!
Bike arrived well packaged, and all painted parts wrapped in pipe insulation-like material. No parts missing, except for one size hex key, curiously...Front brake caliper needed to be installed, but the rear was already in place, as was the rear wheel. Front fender was loose in the box, but the rear fender was pre-installed. I removed the rear fender, and did not install the front fender. I also added some "bull horns" for my wife. Handlebar needed to be bolted on, seat installed, and the front wheel needed to be installed, and the rear rack needs to be bolted on. Spin on the pedals, bolt up the kick stand, put some air in the tires, and you're ready to ride... Took 30 minutes at a leisurely pace.Bike looks sharp! Nice paint job and finish.Minor adjustment to the rear derailleur was needed (a simple turn of the barrel nut), but the front was fine, and the disc brakes were surprisingly good to go!If you are even moderately handy, don't hesitate to order and put it together. You'll be rewarded with a new bike with the same specs as the name brand bike shop versions for half the price!Highly recommended!

Good basic commuter bike; relatively easy to assemble.
Very easy to put together although the front disc brake took some tinkering. I’ll probably take it in to a shop for tightening up the brakes before a real long ride. The front fender needs a bolt to attach it to the pipe. Overall a good buy with all the basic accessories to hop on and get on the road.

Try to spend some more and get a good bike
Its not that bad but i would say they need to work on their grear shifter and the breaks. At first the grear shifter was good but after a few days it was getting stuck everytime i changed gear and when i am riding in the middle of no where it changes the gear it self. The front gears doesn’t shift that well. It gets stuck every time. The breaks ar not good. I had to press both breaks harder to make it break and sometime when you need to a emergency break the break disks slides and the tires slipped. I almost had an accident. The reason why i am giving it 3 star cause it’s a 300 dollar bike which is affordable but they need to work on their gear sifter and the breaks. Worst thing is , it’s a hybrid bike and the tries are a bit thin that why it can easily get stuck in street car tracks. Considering all these reasons i am returning this bike.
