we removed some of the ceiling light bulbs to cut the brightness & the receptacle was exposed like holes in the ceiling...these covers were the perfect solution...not only is the receptacle protected but the ceiling looks so much better without those open recessed holes exposed...

Had just recently renovated my new home. Was planning on putting speakers in the ceiling not realizing how expensive they were. So I purchased these to cover the holes for the wires sticking out of my ceiling. Easy install made from good quality material. I actually bought another box because they worked so well. After reading several reviews, I decided to try these patches. I already expected the adhesive tabs to be garbage so I followed another buyers suggestion to use spray on adhesive. So glad I read his review.Here's a quick and efficient way to use these.First, put a couple of strips of painter's tape across the side that will face the living area and make sure it extends several inches beyond the edged. This tape will support the patch while the glue sets up.Next, spray an ample amount of adhesive (I used 3-M Super 77) on the side that will face the ceiling or wall.Let the patch sit for about 15 minutes so the spray gets tacky.Apply the patch and secure it with the tape (please don't use duct tape because you won't get it off).Let it dry over night and then carefull remove the tape.My repair is almost invisible and I will be painting the ceiling so ir should camoflage it even more.Hope this helps

These are disc of plastic - probably cost around 2 cents each to manufacture. However, they were the only thing I could find to satisfy my need.

Very pleased with these discs. Replaced one of my smoke detectors which resulted in an exposed drywall gap. The disc made it look more aesthetic without resorting to joint compound, sanding and painting.

I bought enough for all my doors, however a couple hours after placing them on the wall they fell down. The glue they have is not strong enough. I do not recommend this product. I bought it to match the aesthetic in my home, however, it was not worth it.

We had some recessed lighting in our new office space that didn’t work and couldn’t be fixed. We used these to cover each light and they conceal very well.

I purchased this to cover the wiring hole of a ceiling light and it worked far better than my first attempt with a metal plate. All I had to do was cut a slice from the middle and an "X" at the middle point. From there, I was able to cover the hole and wiring and the included 3M glue squares will probably outlast my ownership of the house.
