I’ll start by saying that I like the lamps and the fact that they included 3-way dimmable bulbs. But I’m 80 and not fond of written instructions and multiple parts. It intimidates me. So after I removed the contents from the box, I put it all in my wagon in the garage and walked away … for 2 days. Then I thought, okay. Either box it back up and return it or try putting the lamps together. And honestly, it wasn’t that difficult, especially the 2nd one. Probably everyone else will have no problems whatsoever. It’s just me … like I said, I’m 80.

This lamp is exactly what I was looking for. The base is tall and beautiful - it goes great in the distressed bedroom bringing a touch of class and elegance. It would also go fantastic with upscale or modern decor. The size is dramatic but not too showy. It's like she doesn't know she's a beauty :) My only issue is I did not like putting together the shade. It's just a piece of fabric that you have to unroll and attach hooks to it. It does not close all the way as there's only a tiny bit of velcro and it's not strong enough to hold it together so the top 2-3 inches do not come full circle. It's like having your zipper part way down. I will be replacing the shade with one I have.

Update: the seller was extremely responsive and although they couldn’t solve my specific issue with the light switch, they confirmed with the tech team that it wasn’t possible and offered a refund.I wanted a lamp set for our bedroom that looked nice but wasn’t too expensive as we have little kids who could potentially break them. They do the trick from a looks perspective, but there’s one major flaw. We use them on a light switch that connects to the outlet but once they’ve been off for too long when you turn the light switch back on, you need to both turn on the light switch and manually tap the lamp- so you can not turn on the light before you walk into the room and you can’t turn it off when you leave. I would assume for this reason they also do NOT work with any smart plug, etc but I have not confirmed that.

I am very pleased with my lamps! They blend with our modern farmhouse/eclectic style. The texture is a big plus in adding interest to our living room. They were easy to assemble...I did it myself.
