They work
They help with absorbing the scent of stinky shoes. I’d recommend also using a disinfectant spray like Lysol to kill the bacteria. In combination they seem to work well. I have a pair of vessis and for some reason they always smell. But these help them a lot.

Impossible to open!
The deodorizer balls smelled great in the box. Instructions said to twist to open the balls and insert into sneakers. Out of six, I only got 1 to open. Placed 3 balls in each sneakers. Checked them after leaving them in overnight and they did nothing for the smell. Returned them and tried a spray and it worked right away. Do NOT recommend.

Way too strong smell
I got it for the closed shoe rack- and it’s very very strong. I keep most of the little vents closed.

They barely smell at all opened 2 on my closet that barely smelled at all not covering the bad smell I wish I would of bought them

Makes our entryway more bearable
I grabbed these to use for our shoe pile in the entry way. When they arrived I could smell them even before opening it's box. They're not overpowering, but still strong enough. This seems to be a good value and they do the job intended. As long as we put these in our shoes when we get home, there is no lingering foot-stank to speak of!
