Great choice to replace Autoride!
The Chevy Autoride was a good system when new. It’s very expensive to replace. The 5100 shocks are great. Good ride, with smooth tracking. I couldn’t be happier with choosing them.

Awesome upgrade for my 1996 Dodge Ram 4x4
Awesome upgrade for my 1996 Dodge Ram 4x4! Super easy to install and the effects were immediately noticeable. I haul a 1.5 ton lance camper on the back of my truck and the ride is so much smoother now. The sway back and forth has almost completely disappeared! Great product for a killer price.

Great product. Watch Amazon’s 10min price changes.
2005 Dodge Ram 1500. Easy install works great. Not the shocks fault but watch the prices they dropped by 27% one week after I purchased my two rear shocks pretty annoyed by the fact I paid $30 more due to amazon’s A.I. price changes due to my shopping habits.

Good shock absorbers
Much better than the monroe magnums. But it's still a Gen 2 cummins so it rides harsh.

Good Quality.
My shocks on my 97 Ram 1500 needed replacing bad so I did some research and decided to go with these. They are very good quality and feel study. Although they didn't really make the ride in my truck any better they are worth the price I think.

I am a Bilstein fan for life. Had the same model up front for the last 6 months and I replaced everything. Bushings, ball joints, tie rods, anything that could wear, including the front shocks. In the rear, I replaced ONLY the shocks with a spacer kit for the coils on my 2001 suburban 1500 LS. WHAT A FRIGGIN DIFFERENCE! Rides on rails! Will still be doing the bushings later, but will never run another vehicle on anything other than Bilstein shocks/struts.If you're thinking about it! JUST DO IT!These were installed on a 2001 Suburban LS 1500 with a 1.5" spacer they compress slightly further than stock and are also more extended so the range was ideal and provided more travel than stock.

Perfect fit and nice improvement in ride.
Great shocks. My original factory shocks weren't bad, but at 200,000+ miles they were not nearly as firm. I was getting some nose dive on braking, some sway when turning into steep drives. The ride wasn't bad, but it was time to replace the original shocks. These Bilstein shocks are working well. I get almost no nose dive during braking, much more stability turning into steep drives, and I also notice the ride is smoother. These were put on a 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche 2500 8.1L.

Good smooth ride
For the price these are by far the best ride quality in my 1999 Dodge ram 2500 4 x 4.The only problem I had was the quality of the metal, I used a rubber dead blow hammer to tap on one side when I was trying to get the bolt hole aligned and it messed up the threads so I had clean up the threads with my tap and die set before the nut would go on
