This strip far exceeded my expectations. We have pergo flooring from 13 years ago and it has since been impossible to find. I assume it was discontinued. The previous matching transition strips have been broken for quite some time. I finally caved and bought this roll and hoped for the best. It’s much better than previous review photos show. It matches very well and I don’t think you’d notice it was a bit different unless you were looking for it specifically. I used it with two bedrooms from flat to flat floor. I also used it on a raised bathroom floor that still had the previous piece to raise it up to even. It’s perfectly sticky and was so easy to cut with a box cutter and stick down. 10/10

Had my doubts about using a vinyl self stick product to replace 3 doorway transitions that had chip and cracked after 20 years. Turns out it was a great decision! Super easy to measure, cut and install. Each new transition matches the flooring very well and the adhesion is strong and firm. Really can’t beat this in terms of cost or finished repair!!

Nice looking product easy to cut trim and install with a razor knife.I would recommend after cutting the material, let it sit on a flat surface for 24 hours to give it a chance to relax and flatten out a bit for a smooth installation.

This trim was a perfect match to flooring we had installed 5 years ago. We redid the laundry room coming off the kitchen and had a gap between the two floors. This was easy to install and made the transition seamless. I had not been able to find anything locally to do the job.

I was a little unsure about this because I needed it for a laminate/carpet threshold. I have two doorways in my hallway (laminate) that lead into bedrooms (carpet). The carpet is fraying and starting to expose the nails, which obviously hurts to step on! I can’t afford new flooring right now so I decided to give this a try. I just laid it today and I’m pleasantly surprised. The brown grain goes with my laminate pretty well and it’s thick. It’s very sticky so be sure that you know exactly where it’s laying - once you do, it doesn’t really budge. I’ll be curious to see how long it actually lasts because I’m sure with time and stepping on it (especially with kids), it will start to pull up. But honestly, I don’t mind spending $15-$20 occasionally to get a new role. FYI - one roll is enough for two doorways. I have just a little strip left.

We have two places where our tile transitions to a real wood floor. The wood ones were okay but we ordered these and they are fabulous! We made certain everything was very clean that the sticky part would come into contact with and they are working great! Ordered extra just to have!

The color was awful so I didn’t use it. Maybe if it was brown and a solid color it wouldn’t look so bad. I’m returning it.
