Got this to replace a glass soap dispenser. We'd been purchasing glass ones with "metal" dispensing tops cause that's what I thought looked cute. But the tops got funky quickly and never seemed to come clean. After 2 or 3 glass ones breaking due to my boyfriend or "allegedly" my cats knocking them over I decided to get something different. I wanted plastic, but not boring and easy to clean. This fit the bill. Who wouldn't love an adorable penguin with a beak that spits out soap? I definitely think it would encourage kids to wash their hands regularly. But I'm just an adult, young at heart, who loves fun things. I really only have one very small complaint and it's that the dispenser doesn't hold as much soap as I'm used to. It's not even really a con, I just have to refill more often. I definitely recommend this product if you're looking for something fun, easy to clean, kid friendly,or difficult to break.

This is not only ADORABLE, but it is sturdy, pumps easily, does not make a mess, and makes hand washing fun.

I love the pink hippo! When it came in the mail I was so excited about such an outrageous yet adorable purchase I took a pic and sent it to my family who all thought it was cute or weird lol. It's cute, simple, chic, and the biggest thumbs is up its actually functional and durable which can be a toss up sometimes with unknown online products. The soap bottle itself could be a little bigger but over all the price was well deserved for the product. Mostly I'm using it to give me a smile and a chuckle in the morning, I may be 24 but a cute animal product is still vastly needed in my day to day. ;D

The picture makes the product look like it's motion-sensored, but you still have to push down on the product head to dispense the soap. It's a light push, so it's not bad, and I do love the cute design that's implemented for kids, but I really wished it was motion-sensored for more ease of access.

I'm in my mid-30s, and bought this for myself because it's adorable and you only live once. It's been great -- easy to fill up, and no clogging so far. It dispenses a little less soap than a regular plastic soap dispenser, but I like that. Just bop its cute little head again if you need more. Absolutely recommend!

This soap dispenser makes me smile. I love the playful stylized duck design. It reminds me of a vintage Ambi Toys design and I’m really glad I bought it. I use it for hand soap at my kitchen sink and it is functional and cute. It does dispense kind of a lot of soap if you press it down fully, so gentle pressure is plenty!

Kid is obsessed with patting the hippo. After a recent visit to the zoo, glad they didn't make a companion pump of the rear end helicopter tail.

We bought this for our daughter to make it easier and fun for her to wash her hands by herself, and this is absolutely not useful at allIt barely dispense any soap at all, you need to press ten times on it to barely have a pea size amount of soap, and I wish I was jokingOn top of that it was on the rather expensive side, so highly disappointed

I got the penguin - I wanted something that would appeal to the kids and be easy to push. The quality is better than a novelty item, and it has lasted well. But I do think it is overpriced and it doesn't live up to expectations on usefulness. The base is smaller and rounded so it can shoot out when you press on the top, and it holds less soap than it should - makes it more top-heavy and unstable. I feel like I'm refilling it a lot. But it does work, it refills fine.

A brilliant way to help little kids to get into washing their hands - the hippo sneezes and the soap comes out! Not the cheapest soak dispenser out there but seems to be good quality and has lasted a while already despite kids being heavy handed!
