Great cage
First of all this cage comes in a very large box and is VERY heavy. Assembly is pretty straight forward but I didn’t have any help so the first couple of steps were a little difficult because you need to get two of the sides together first so another pair of hands would be helpful. After that it’s not too difficult and the instructions are good. I didn’t put the wheels on first because I didn’t want it to roll around during assembly. It wasn’t hard to put them on after it was complete. There are a lot of parts and all of the necessary parts and screws were included. It is a very sturdy cage for my Pineapple Conure and for the price I would recommend it. I also have an Yelliw Naped Amazon bird which is a medium size bird and this cage would be too small for him so only for smaller birds such as conures. I got the white cage which is more of a light gray but still pretty. I like the fact that the food dishes are attached to the doors for easy feeding and cleaning is easy with slide out trays. It makes it easier if you use an electric screwdriver also. I really like this cage and also need to mention that I am 77 years old so if I can do it anyone can do it.

A real review from a real person
Let's be honest folks, we all know where this stuff is being made and shipped from, okay? I've built a few animal cages myself and let me tell ya, they don't make it easy for ya here. It's expensive and a buttload of work. This cage arrived with a small bend in one area of the bars; it doesn't pose any safety threats and it can be overlooked. The aesthetic look is just a powder coat, underneath is wrought iron. Just be careful with it and take care of your things. If it chips, just make sure it doesn't become so rusted it falls off its hinges...but that's very unlikely. Those were the cons. Now lemme tell you what I love. The overall look, sturdiness, convenience, bang for your buck, good size for most small to medium birds I'd say (happily put a cockatiel in there). So there's a lot to love. It does surprise you how small it *seems*, but read the measurements folks, like...c'mon, but it's actually quite large and roomy. We'll see how this holds up after some use. I'm generally careful with my things, but so far I'm impressed. It's better than I had hoped, and I'm giving it my approval, even taking the time to write a review which I do rarely!

Too small, too short ~ bad choice all around
***. Updated Review. **. Return approved ~ however ~ it will cost $102.00 to return. Forced to keep it, will attempt to sell on Marketplace. No happy with results. There are no instructions ~ just six diagrams with arrows. On one side the bars were bent to the point our bird could fit through. Casters do not roll smooth when assembled. Other than that, it’s a nice cage ~ just too small for our bird. The cage it was replacing is twice the size. Requested to return ~ waiting for approval. Usually refund/return requests are instant. Not excited at the prospect of denying a refund. Will pay better attention in the future. Will update review once return is approved.

Good For Medium Sized birds
My Pineapple Conure loves this cage, we have the 61 inch. It was pretty easy to set up and follow the directions. Just the first two steps needed an extra person to help me. It’s very spacey for a medium sized bird. My Pineapple Conure kept falling off of the perches that came with it because they were too big for his feet and he could not keep balance. I suggest the 12 inch rope perches, he really liked them. They also move any way you want them, I attached the rope perch to the inside of the bar and then the door bar for when I open it he can easily come hang out. Over all I think this is a very good cage, I would definitely purchase another one soon for my cockatiel. I bumped down a star because it arrived late when I placed the order wenesday expecting it to arrive on Friday by 8pm for prime membership. It arrived Saturday 10:30am. The tracking info didn’t help much until I inquired on Friday morning with customer service. I am just not happy about that part. Other than that I like this cage and would purchase again.

Damaged galore! NOT FAULT OF SELLER! FEDEX SUCKS!
if you can get this cage at a local pet store, do that. We got it (7 days later than expected) and the item was damaged to hell and back. The box was basically falling apart, and the item itself was bent HARD in several parts. Each part had damage of it's own to it, but I stopped taking pictures around the 4th item. Maybe the shippers through fedex just chucked ours to Argentina and back or something, but it took a HUGE beating. I will say that the return process was painless, as it was a "returnless refund", and now I get to go weld something out of this. Maybe a bird stand out of it or something. (Silver linings?)That being said, the cage itself is a great cage, if it hadn't been battered around, and had a bit more packing, (maybe foam instead of bubble wrap?) I'm sure it would have survived. We're planning to get it a local shop we recently found that carries it, and it's perfect for our cockatiel, who will basically live in this mansion (for her) of a cage. I'd no way put anything bigger than a cockatiel in the 61" one though.Decent cage, and a good deal, just but it local if you can and save yourself the pain of what we went through.

Perfect upgraded cage for our cockatiel
The instructions that come with this cage are useless but as soon as you unbox it, it's self explanatory and super easy to put together. It took my husband all of 20 minutes to complete. A couple of the bars were bent in shipping but went right back into place and you can't even tell. It's not a cage for a bird bigger than a conure but it's perfect for smaller birds. Our cockatiel loves the playtop and it's exactly what I was looking for in an upgrade from his smaller one. Shipping was FAST and arrived a day before originally estimated. Overall great experience
