We really appreciate the strength and stability, in a situation where nothing could be attached to a wall. The set-up was very easy and, once completed, it creates a secure environment for our dog.

We are long-term, integrating a not-so-socialized cat, into our multi-cat household -The HEIGHT. and the WIDTH of this Gate are the most important to us — our hallway is a Blessed 4’ wide (by design) - and we Needed the extension - it works great!And our cats are not so willing to jump the taller gate.The Gate itself is Wonderful! Easy one-hand operation as described -Installed, it’s VERY sturdy - it will last in place, virtually forever, if we wanted it to.We are utterly delighted with the quality and performance of this Gate. It will work for small grandchildren, dogs, alligators, and wombats, too !

This keeps the dog from going outside. She kept running outside until we got it. Such a big help to have she’s been inside the house ever since and it’s kept us from worrying if we’d lose her. It is so great to have this product.

Bought two gates a smaller one and a longer one. Same brand. The smaller one came in first. The box seem like it had been opened already because all the zip ties (that the directions say not to cut off until gate is installed) were all already cut off. On top of that the latch where the gate open and closes doesn't even reach the where it would clasp at. So, I requested for an exchange.Now the longer gate came in and it is the same exact problem. only difference is this one this have zip ties at all!So annoying. I'm not sure what is going on, but do not buy these gates.

Once the gate was completed and put up it works great! However, one of the sections had the silver peg inserted incorrectly (pictured). Had to remove with a flat head screwdriver and reinsert so it would correctly line up with the hole in the other secton of the gate. Instructions should just say the gate closure has to be pressure closed. The round pressure closure part is used in order for the latch on the door to close. So overall instructions could have been better. It's a great gate though once completed.
