Due to the way Honda does there shifters, these normaly would not work, but if you cut the button end off and score up the welded post a bit, you can use epoxy. I replaced my previous chrome one that was on about 8 years with this one, so that epoxy will hold for a long time.

Bolt pitch doesn’t match stock sportster
Peg looks good. Bolt provided doesn’t match my sportster. Ended up retapping and rethreading parts to make it work.
